Susan and Harvey are really dedicated to sustainability and hospitality. They open their hearth and heart to people visiting, giving us a chance to connect to nature, and to what really matters in life. Joy, friendships, beauty and purpose. An Eco-lodge with superb food, mostly...More
Harvey and Susan are wonderful hosts - we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay with them. I traveled with my grown daughter and 12-year old niece, and we stayed 3 nights in the Tree House and 2 nights in the Beach House. We did lots...More
My wife and I stayed here in July 2015 as part of a 3 lodge package (La Leona and Danta). This is a fantastic place to stay, and the hosts truly made us feel as if we were visiting family. The setting is beautiful with...More
We stayed here from June 19 until June 23, 2016. It was fantastic! Upon arrival at Porto Jimenez, we saw scarlet macaws on the short, 10-15 minute walk to the dock for the boat pick up, scheduled ahead of arrival. On the trip to the...More

The rains start coming in May and so many of the tour companies start to shut down..its the beginning of low season... but its beautiful ..its called the green season! it is often sunny in the morning to afternoon and then some showers (some heavier then others!)
then it clears away and the sun shines again. Its not a cold rain, unless your in the Mountains, and then its quite a bit cooler
because of the rains the rivers are running off into the ocean, the visibility is much less snorkeling in may. hope this helps
