We returned for the third time to Zancudo Lodge. The first rip was approximately 10 years earlier with the previous owner. The second time was in 2013. What a difference. The entire lodge had been made over. Perhaps only the name remained the same. Where do we start? The food is plated and usually served as three courses. The rooms... More

We just got back from a week at the Zancudo Lodge, and I've been trying to figure out just how to write up such an incredible experience. This is not your traditional fishing lodge. The fishing is fantastic - we fished for two days on a smaller boat with Captain Jay - and two days on the Contender with Tito... More

Having been to Zancudo Lodge previously, our expectations for a return trip to celebrate my retirement were extremely high. They were far exceeded. Gregg and Goldine went far above and beyond to make this visit even more memorable than the last. The lodge, food, staff and service were once again second to none. We were fortunate to stay in the... More

This is a first class operation all the way. The rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. There was housekeeping twice daily and laundry service makes it possible not to pack so much clothes. Breakfast and lunch were good and there was a variety of choices . Be sure to have the fries.. A cross between a French fry and a... More

Just retuned from the lodge and what a trip. The tuna were just thick and boat capitan ellvis put us on them everyday. Also caught two Roosters. Also the food was out of this world. Gregg and Goldine treat you like Kings and Queens as do all the staff thank you all. See you in March. Jack Hart

From the moment we were met at the airport, the staff and owners treated us like royalty. Heck, all we wanted to do was fish, but when you add fine dining and a relaxed atmosphere, you almost forgot about the reason you're there. If you go anywhere else, you're cheating yourself.

First, I would go back! I had been trying to catch a marlin for 10 years so that I could try to catch a 50 pound Rooster Fish. The second day of fishing, it looked like we were going to get shut out, but on a whim, Captain Javier tossed one of the Bonita baits out at the mouth of... More

I have been going to Zancudo Lodge one to two times a year for eight years. The fishing is amazing as well as the facilities and staff. The rooms have been recently remodeled... beds are soft, AC blows cold and the showers are amazing. They have a great pool and open bar area. The food is fresh and they have... More
