My wife and I just got back from a fabulous trip to The Zancudo Lodge in Costa Rica. Goldine and Gregg, operate a five star resort. They make you feel like family. They make sure your transfers to the resort are smooth and a pleasant experience. The resort has luxury

My husband and I went back again and this trip was even better. The service was impeccable and the food is five stars. We fished with Captain Cholo twice. One day we found the Tuna which was amazing and the next day he put us on a grand slam (Sailfish, Striped Marlin, Blue!!!)

This year marked our 5th or 6th trip to Zancudo Lodge. Every year they have added something new to make a great destination even better. Our primary reason we go there is for the fishing, and it's great; the boats are great, the captains are great. But the Lodge is something

The costs are generally subject to number of participants and fuel for boats, transport, etc. In general the typical tours were in the range of ~$75-$100 per person for each trip and they usually lasted about 1/2 day. Please contact owners Goldie and Alan at the lodge directly and they will be more than willing to answer any questions directly based upon the size of your group and make any necessary accommodations. Great lodge!

Yes, you can keep your catch. Two in our group caught Dorado and had the lodge fillet and freeze them. Most of us didn't want to bother. Like the group above we targeted Sails, Marlin and reef fish like Roosters and Caberra. Not really edible. This is one of the most beautiful lodges we have visited in Central America. I also suggest staying a couple of days in Antigua at the Casa Santo Domingo.
