The lodge was charming and set in the rain forest. It takes just under an hour by boat going along canals that have beautiful trees and foliage on either side, this is the only way to access the lodges. On arrival we were met by staff and offered a delicious and refreshing fruit drink. The lodges were clean and comfortable,... More

Only accessible by boat, the lodge is surrounded by gardens with mature trees, so you can see birds and howler monkeys close to your room. Room was clean and pleasant. All meals were included with self-service buffet at each meal and the food is good with a decent choice. Not full but still fairly busy when we went in the... More

Stayed here as part of the Thomson Grand Tour of Costa Rica. Lovely hour long boat ride from landing station to the lodges which are set amongst the rain forest with sympathetically laid pathways throughout. Wildlife around the lodge is constant and varied and walks during both the day and night are worth doing as well as boat rides through... More

The location of the lodges is beautiful. On the side of the water, in the middle of nature. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Since there are no windows, you feel one with your surroundings! The food is good, everyone is very friendly! Swimming pool is good and the trails starting from the hotel are a great opportunity to... More

The cabins are very big but unfortunately they will not allow families of 5 so we had to stay in adjoining cabins. Food is good. The hotel is really inside the jungle and the guides are very helpful and informative. We took the night turtle tour which I recommend although it's expensive 35 USD per person and they don't make... well maintained lodges in a beautiful garden. the whole trip incl. tours was well organized, the trip by boat to the lodge is already very worthwhile. we had spacious rooms at the end of the garden so very quiet (except for the jungle noises of course). meals were as good as a buffet can get, with enough choice for everyone.

the hotel is so close to the Tortuguero park and fully integrated in the rainforest. It has an offer tours that are very interesting. all this makes up for any lack of quality in the service or food or even the quality of the rooms . worth a visit for the location .

A busy ecolodge for families, youthful explorers, and seniors alike. Well located for experiencing the beach, wildlife filled forest, and a rural village. Although the rooms are not air conditioned, the food, pool, bar, and tour opportunities are all exceptional. The staff is friendly and competent.

great base to explore the rainforest and nature reserve from. Not a lot going on though. Food was excellent and service wonderful. Stayed in the middle of the rainforest so be warned of the bugs and mossies. wear plenty of deet and cover up. Nice turtle shaped pool and bar area to relax in. Lovely walks along the pathways to... The rooms are basic. No ac or tv The stuff are very very good. They make you feel that you are in good hands. The food is good. We walked around the hotel and saw monkeys and spiders. Its takes 45 mintues boat drive to get to the hotel
