Great place, very quiet, a true jungle experience. The staff goes above and beyond, had problem upon our arrival with the reservations,, and Merille made things happen ......can not go wrong staying here. Great beach right across the road but need to take a Taxi into town, several restaurants there.

We had been competing on La Ruta de los Conquistadores mountain bike race for three grueling days that started in the Pacific Ocean and ended in Limon. Yes a little far from Limon but the peacefulness of the lodge, the helpful staff and the food made recuperation much faster. Breakfast is a tropical delight of Costa Rican food and fruits....

The Cariblue is a lovely hotel with breathtakingly beautiful grounds. It is not the most posh hotel in Costa Rica but is certainly clean, comfy and beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. The bartenders even remembered just how we liked our drinks. You just can't beat the location, right on the beach...

My fiancé stayed here for three nights on our first leg of two weeks tripping through Costa Rica. It was great!! The property is well maintained and situated right across from what we thought was the best beach in Puerto Viejo. The included breakfast was awesome... NOT a silly continental. Eggs made to order, fresh fruit, Gallo pinto, stew and...

This hotel was in an ideal location for us. Not in the middle of the activity in Puerto Viejo, but close enough to walk and just a very short walk to the beach! Our room was very nice and the grounds are well kept with all kinds of critters around. Our front porch had a large bench and a hammock...

This is a great little hotel just off the main road in Puerto Viejo. It is far enough away from the town to feel very secluded, but close enough to bike to town for food, drinks and exploring. We highly recommend the superior cabins to be even more secluded. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Be sure to get...

At the end of Port Viejo sits this jungle setting. It's right across the road from the ocean as well. The room had all you need, including hot water! What we loved the most were the jungle noises at night. I swear we heard monkeys playing on our roof. There's also a very relaxing pool with a bar. That's where...

We stayed 9 nights at this hotel. It is probably one of the better hotels in the area. That being said, this place needs an upgrade! We stayed in an ocean view suite (2 bedrooms with one small bathroom). One bedroom had a king bed, while the second room had two double beds. If there were more people than just...

Bungalow was very private with a patio and hammock. Room with two beds was clean and beds were comfortable. Wi fi included. Some items went missing from my friends suitcase(coffee & cell phone charger). Management said they would look into it. Never heard anything back. Breakfast included was very good. Pool was picturesque and included a sloth living in a...
