Kenaki Lodge is a charming place out of town!! It is beautifully landscaped, decorated and serves a delicious breakfast!! However, the wifi signal is weak.... The power also went out in a couple of occasions. Isabelle graciously furnished candles. A small price to pay for such a beautiful location!!

You are true, sometimes when it's raining hard, we have problems of internet and electricity and we hopé in the future, the national company in charge will take care efficientely of these problems. Best regards, Isabelle More

I cannot say enough about my recent travels to Cahuita. This was my first trip to Costa Rica, and will definitely no be my last. Kenaki is a gorgeous property. Its simple, yet chic and quite comfortable. The owner Isabell was very personable and helpful. Breakfast was delightful. Our room was the closest to the dining area so if you... More

We'd stayed in another hotel in the area the night before and were looking for something with less of a commune feel than that prior stay had given us. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have lots of windows into the surrounding gardens. The owner's dogs woke us up once or twice in the night but otherwise it was a... More

This is a very clean quiet beautiful hotel . The beach right across from the hotel is very long & deserted . Great for jogging , walking & swimming . it is best if you have your own rental car , but calling taxi wasn't a problem at all. It took only 5 minutes wait & 5 minutes drive to... More

Kenaki Lodge is very clean and in a great location. The foliage is absolutely beautiful and its right across from a black sand beach whose sand feels like baby powder. The picture of the hotel is probably when they first opened as all of the lush flowers, fruit trees, and plants are missing. Ms. Isabel that owns the property is... More

Hi, Thanks to have choiced for your holidays Kenaki Lodge. I'm pleased you've felt well with us even with a few problems you had. Yes, you are true, unfortunetely when you came, internet was working very bad because we were expecting the delivery (from San José, because in Cahuita we have monkeys and iguanas but you don't find those equipments)... The place is so beautiful, close to the sea, and in one of the best beaches at the Caribbean. The rooms are nice to rest, peaceful, and affordable. A good place for a romantic vacation maybe, but the other rooms may be so close to each other. Transportation is a request here, it's far from Cahuita downtown, but is close... More

We were staying with my family in this hotel for 2 nights. My mom had a birthday and we found out this hotel in the Internet to celebrate her birthday there. Kenaki Lodge, tucked in between lush jungle and the ocean, is literally a hidden treasure. The beautiful Balinese-style set-up is lovely, and Isabelle is a fantastic hostess and gourmet chef. She'll tell you it's "just family style" -- but know that you're in for a treat! Perfect for a quiet getaway, and to reconnect with nature. It was the perfect... More

Started off my solo adventure on the rain forest and then shuttled to Kenaki Lodge...ahhh much better. Though the surf was still rough and cloudy due to the rainy season ending, the beach was beautiful to walk and explore. My suite at Kenaki was lovely...just what I needed to find some peace and quiet. Breakfast was basic and the same... More

Stayed here one night. My biggest beef is for the prices they charge, the quality just wasn't there. I could stay somewhere very similar in terms for amenities and style, for a lot less. So, the room, Looks nice when you enter, with a modern kitchen. But the kitchenware was dirty. And - it was HOT. No A/C. Ceiling fans,... More

Dear Madam or Sir, First of all I would like to thank you about your commentery on the noisy singing lezard and the howler monkeys you've heard at 4.30 a.m. in the hotel you've been one night in Cahuita in April 2015. It's really for those reasons people usually come to visit Cahuita and Costa Rica in general. In Cahuita,... More
