The morning after our first night at Kelly Creek, my husband and I woke up with literally dozens of itchy red bites on legs, arms, hands, and so forth. Erica, the proprietor, said she thought the flat red ones were sand fleas. We had not yet been out on the beach, so we wondered how we got sand flea bites.... More

On our first trip to Costa Rica, we chose Cahuita because we wanted a relaxed place. We spent 22 nights at Kelly Creek Hotel and it was the most gorgeous time of our lives. Erika is a caring, beautiful woman who has made a lovely space. The animals surround Kelly Creek also wanting to be part of this sublime spot.... More

We stayed at Kelly Creek at the end of a 2 week holiday in Costa Rica. Is was a lovely place in an absolutely perfect location right by Cahuita national park. So many gorgeous animals literally just outside out window. And Erica was a lovely host - as were her rabbit and two lovely cats. Warmly recommended.

I enjoyed so much staying at Kelly Creek. The place is incredible close to the National Park so when you have breakfast many animals, iguanas, monkeys, birds, etc, gather over there in the morning. The rooms are huge and clean. Besides, the owner Erica, its a lovely person and very sweet.

My friend and I Spent 2 nights at Kelly Creek. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is located right beside Cahuita National Park, which let you get close to nature and the wildlife. And it's right beside the beach. I highly recommend staying here.

Erica was a lovely host. We arrived late and left early, unfortunately, because we were on a work trip. However, for the time we were there, we enjoyed the spacious clean rooms and being next to the ocean. Erica accommodated our room on very short notice, and was able to provide everything we needed. The lodge is beautiful!! And literally... More

Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. I'll point out the pros and cons of what we experienced staying a 3 nights as a family at the Kelly Creek. Pros / cons Location. This has to be one of the best locations in Cahuita for a hotel. It is right on the entrance of the Cahuita Town side of the... More

We really enjoyed our stay here and host Erica was friendly and informative about the wildlife. We saw many birds and monkeys and even one of the large caymans which was very exciting in the creek next to her property. Breakfast was really nice and we would recommend this place to nature lovers. Only small recommendation I would offer would... More

Amazing place, next to the park so animals are part of the hotel... we even got the visit of the crocodile, one day, not to mention wake-up call by monkeys, etc. The new owner, Erika is very nice, welcoming, attentive to your needs... and supportive to women-solo-travellers! So, definitely THE place to stay! Katy-Maria!

This is the best location in Cahuita to stay. The rooms are lovely, the food is delicious, and the hosts are fantastic. It is near the entrance of the national park and beach. We've been here a number of times and are never disappointed.
