Cabinas Riverside far exceeded our expectations. Our room was clean and it didn't get to hot, and the shower was honestly the best one we have used in Costa Rica; Hot and amazing pressure! The mosquito net over the bed, though a bit of an annoyance at times, worked really well and helped add to a great sleep. We honestly...

We stayed at Cabinas Riverside for 1 night. The location was easily walkable from the bus station even with all of our bags. It was also conveniently located right next to the national park, beaches and the town. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Peck. He was extremely friendly and welcoming and wanted us to see what...

We spent a week at Cabinas Riverside. They are simple and clean and inexpensive. We especially liked the rooms with kitchenette so we could make our meals. Walking distance from stores, a nice fruit and veggie market, bank with ATM, many good and affordable restaurants, the bus station but most importantly the national park and beaches are just around the...

We stayed at Cabinas Riverside for 2 nights. Peck was really friendly when we arrived. The room was basic and clean. It is close to the entrance of the national park, playa blanca and the center but far enough not to be troubled by any noise. There is a garden and if you are lucky you can even spot some...

The owner Peck is a very dishonest man who is only concerned about money. I reserved with him for 2 nights the day before my stay during the busy easter week. I paid him in full for the 2 nights at that time and he wrote my no receipt. On the day of my departure he comes to my room...

We just finished staying in a one bedroom cabina with kitchenette. The owners Luis and Peck Ferguson were very kind and helpful to us. They checked to see if we needed anything everyday. Always with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable. A big bonus was the fact that there was a lot of wildlife to be seen right...

This is our 4th year back! We can't imagine going anywhere else! We love our cozy little cabinas! Can't wait to get back there this year. The family who owns the Cabinas are remarkable people! They are like family! The wildlife on the property is incredible!

We didn't book anything before arriving in Cahuita with the morning bus from San José, so we stood close to the National Park entrance a little confused with our little map when a nice lady ask if we needed help and showed us these cabinas. They were just perfect with the nice hammocks in front of the rooms. The rooms...

This time around and travelled with my husband and a 2 year old. We got a room in a cabin that is facing the swamp. It was more like a one-bedroom apartment, than just a hotel room. Very big kitchen/dining area/living room with a nice couch, big bedroom (we even fitted an extra bed for a kid) and a super...
