We stayed for 1 night as part of a tour of Costa Rica, room was nice and clean the only problem was people talking/shouting in middle of night outside which kept us all awake. Tour guide who took us on walk through rain forest was very knowlegable.

we only stayed here over night, and one day - and that was definitely not enough !!! This is an amazing place to come birding. I started out getting one of the bungalows way up on the side of the mountain, but after trekking up there, knew there was no way I could walk that far everyday back and forth...

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a tour of Costa Rica. Whilst the hotel is fairly basic, the rooms are spacious and clean and certainly adequate when the only time you will want to spend in your room is when you are sleeping. The roar of the howler monkeys, first thing in the morning, initially sounds like...

We stayed across the road from the main hotel and this was a mistake. Although in the wooded area it was an 8-900m walk to get to the restaurant and main hotel. For us though this hotel was too big and we should have gone to the Biological Station. Lesson learned for next time. I'm sure the accommodation is better...

Good morning, thank you for your comment, and we understand your disagreement and we feel sorry for that, I just want to tell you that the bungalows, because of their remote location, are special for early birdwatching , as well as having capuchin monkeys as neighbors. The receptionists, when they have space available, are always available to help if any...

It was lovely walking the grounds, seeing all the poison dart frogs and variety of birds, especially at the feeders. The food was good, but yes the room was basic and you could hear the lorries at night Overall it is a nice place to find the poison dart frogs, which is what we wanted

Rooms basic but comfortable. You are really here for the location with a hanging bridge across the Sarapiqui river taking you into a two hour trail around the rainforest with frogs and bullet ants and maybe even a sloth! Food basic but the restaurant and bar overlook the rain forest and the sarapiqui river.

Landed at San Jose and direct to this resort arriving in the dark for 4 night stay. A little disappointed we had a reasonable trek to locate our accommodation with our suitcases and carry bags on our own but being near the river was very pleasant. Virtually all walkways are covered so one can move about the grounds to see...

A good place for an active overnight stay. We stayed in a bungalow and took both a day and a night tour. The bungalow and the overall property was like a scouting camp plus. Don't expect more. The bungalows had AC which did nothing. Food in the restaurant was just okay (buffet mainly for tours). Breakfast was another just okay...
