This is my third time staying at Minor's place and I can't say enough good things about it and the Owner- who makes it a great experience every time. Don Minor is welcoming, always helps me improve my Spanish and has a great breakfast of fruit, eggs, Gallo pinto, sausage, cheese, toast and coffee and juice. The place is simple... More

I cannot begin to explain how incredible our stay at the San Lorenzo Inn was. I plan on staying at the Inn each time I go back to Costa Rica, and when my parents come to visit me we will be staying there too. Where to begin? Minor and Marta are the most kind, and accommodating people in the world.... More

The San Lorenzo Inn is in a residential neighborhood in Heredia, and therein lies its charm. It's safe and secure, on a lightly-traveled residential street. Minor, the proprietor, is tremendously hospitable and it's super clean. WiFi in the rooms, yay! My room had an amazingly well-equipped kitchenette that would easily facilitate stays of several weeks. A good breakfast is served... More

We stayed at the San Lorenzo Inn for our first couple of nights on our trip to CR. The hotel is very cute, the grounds are lovely with all the flowers. The rooms have plenty of space with a little kitchen are sparkling clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and cooked to our individual wishes, tasted great! Minor... More

We have stayed at the San Lorenzo Inn at least 14 times, for various lengths of time. We have two young children, and they have been welcome at every age since they were three. It will always be our hotel of choice in the Heredia area for many reasons. The hotel is quaint and small and is kept up extremely... More

I spent 3 weeks at the San Lorenzo Inn and I can't wait to go back. The hotel is small, quiet, clean, safe, and beautifully situated. It is off the beaten path in a tranquil neighborhood outside Heredia but it is easy to walk to the town of San Joaquin de Flores for convenient restaurants and daily shopping needs or... More

I stayed a little after my Study Abroad trip, so I needed a place to stay. The San Lorenzo Inn was perfect! The location is in one of the quietest, safest neighborhoods in suburban Costa Rica. The included breakfast is a hearty helping of fruit, eggs, sausage, and cheese, and gallopinto, much better than the toast and jam you'll get... More

It's pretty and comfy and the staff, Minor and Augusto and others couldn't be doing more to make things perfecto!! If you need a place to stay for awhile, or just a night, this is the place! and so... More

I was honored to get to stay at the San Lorenzo Inn B&B and get to meet Minor, the proprietor, his family and his staff. I was treated like family from the day that my stay began. They welcome you with open arms and make you feel like you've known them forever. The accomodations are very neat, clean, cozy and... More

I first met Minor in 2010 when I was studying abroad in Costa Rica. He was the host father of one of my good friends, who told me often about Minor's little hotel. When I came back to the country in March 2012 to visit, I enlisted his help in getting around and hosting my friends and I while we... More
