Whilst the hotel was on the beach front, it was also next to the kitchen and cleaning stations which meant there was always a foul smell. The rooms are quite far back from the ocean as well so you really don't feel like you are on the beach. The split levels of the room mean that the downstairs is very...

We were advised to try them for lunch by the concierge at the JW Marriott. Not sure if the fireworks happened as advised at 7:30pm, someone would have to verify that. We chartered a deep sea fishing boat for half day, then walked here a short distance for lunch. My fish sandwich was OK, but my wife and her friend...

I really liked the feel of this hotel, It was right on the beach so you walk out your door and twenty thirty feet your on the beach. I loved it. My only issue was the door lock was crazy at one point I stood in front of my door for ten minutes trying to lock it. other than that...

This hotel is badly in need of renovation. Not worth $100 a night. Worse aspect: Stairs to loft are right next to bed, so when you get up to go to the bathroom, you have to crouch real low to avoid hitting your head. My husband hit his head. Also, loft ceiling is very low. My husband hit his head...

The locations, the staff and cleanliness were ON POINT! Loved it. It's a small boutique hotel attached to a restaurant. We requested the furthest room from the kitchen a cpl weeks before visiting and our stay was perfect. Literally steps to the beach. Would stay here 100% again!!

The room I had was excellent. Great ocean view. Right on the beach, yet right downtown. Loft bed. Very good tv reception and internet. AC was great. Restaurant was one of the best in Tramarindo. Picturesque. Of course not the Westin, but much more friendly. Staff were wonderful. And they have this great hammock... I can't wait to go back.

This is a great little hotel directly on the beach in Tamarindo. The staff were all extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms were like split level lofts but extremely comfy and cozy. The locator puts you in walking distance of everything. The hotel has a bar restaurant with a beach view and provided nightly entertainment. They also provided happy hour...

We found this little gem of a hotel and it was extremely reasonably priced. Our room was comfortable and clean...which is really all we wanted. The AC made sleeping at night really wonderful and without it we would have died. It is hot in Tamarindo! The hotel is also right on the beach and I loved waking up each morning...

I actually had a little trouble finding this hotel since it was a little further down the strip than the GPS told us. Upon arrival I was greeted by the front desk agent Bryan. I got to say this guy was a rock star! Very welcoming and every last suggestion he gave us from places to eat to night life...

We stayed at La Palapa April 7-9. We couldn't be happier with this place!. We stayed in a room with a Queen bed, A/C, and literally on the beach!. The location is the best in tamarindo. They're right by the end of the strip and on the beach. The service is wonderful, and the room was just what we expected....
