Great location off the busy strip, this clean and quaint hotel has beach access across the road. Marvin and Karla is super friendly and so helpful, although they do not speak a lot of English, it was easy enough for us to communicate. The rooms had great space and the decor was just right. We stayed in three places throughout...

Read prior reviews and must say this place lives up to the positive statements in those reviews. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. Safe parking for your rental car and easy access to a store and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Both air conditioning and a celing fan available. I can recommend this place. The only negative is...

This was the perfect place. Firstly, the caretakers, Karla and Marvin made us feel like part of the family. They were kind and welcoming, and no request was too much. The facility was tranquil and felt like a tropical paradise. There is a small pool, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Even though it is close to stores and restaurants, it has...

I stayed at Mono Loco for 6 wonderful days. The staff was CONSTANTLY cleaning and asking if I needed anything. My room was straightened and cleaned daily. The hammocks right outside my door were perfect for reading and lounging and set in a great shaded patio, which was perfect for eating meals and just hangin out playing cards. The cooling...

This place is a gem. The pool area surrounded by a lush garden and teaming with birds is so peaceful. The shaded seating area with hammocks is very chill and casual. The owners are lovely and helpful, although they only speak Spanish, we managed to communicate with a lot of gesturing! The rooms are simple and clean. The location is...

I loved this hotel. The couple that runs it was absolutely amazing. I loved the pool area and location of the hotel. It was close to town but just far enough away to not hear all the noise. Very beautiful.

For the price, staying here was worth it. Not the most luxurious stay, but walking distance from town and worth the price. Owners were very nice and provided excellent service. If you are traveling on a budget with friends, staying here is a good choice.

Clean and very confortable. The personel is nice. Very close to the beach but out of the noisy village. You just need a fridge more for the guests. Is one of the last accomodations ... old style ..I come back again with my family.

A group of friends spent our New Years in Tamarindo and were lucky enough to find this place! The owners helped keep everything so clean and provide a delicious breakfast service. The location is right across the street from the beach and town. It's clean with an amazing pool and staff. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely...

I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic people. Very quaint. The owners work diligently to provide top notch service and truly deliver. The food was also great which is convenient considering they serve traditional food....not a bs continental breakfast. (It does cost though). However, very cheap for the quality!
