Super organized by Tatiana and Kelly who warmly welcomed us at the reception and always were at our disposal. We felt from the beginning in great hands. Our room was amazing with perfect view towards beach and the sunset. At the restaurant we’ve been perfectly served by Mario and Endy as well as Charlie who created special cocktails every day. The quality of the food was outstanding and the best we have had during our stay in Costa Rica in a hotel. The private beach as well as the pool area is very cozy and luxurious. We also had a couple spa treatment and it was very good and relaxing! All in one it was a perfect getaway so we even extended our stay - a great experience and highly recommended!
A last minute getaway, we picked this boutique hotel as we liked the location and that it was a smaller hotel with amenities. We were able to walk into town - you walk through a gate and a path to town; to get to the beach you cross the street, thru gate, down another lane to a grassy area with umbrellas and a small pool. Very private. If you have an issue with steps, this is NOT the hotel for you as there are many to get to the various rooms and to the dining area. The architecture is part of the charm as rooms go out in different directions and the property is even built around an old tree in one area. The service was impeccable - we followed other reviewer's advice and asked for a pillow top as our mattress was too hard. There were also a few small things that needed fixing and the staff was very accommodating. Rooms are clean and have all the little things. We were upgraded to a room with a porch and a hot tub (how fun!) and watched the howler monkeys who came over the roof at around sunset a few evenings. The breakfast is delicious with many choices. While dinner was included, it is limited so we ate there only 3 nights of our week stay. Two of the 3 nights, the food was very good; 1 night not so much to our taste. The staff in the restaurant are great, friendly and had a lot of tips about local places to see including beaches, Sodas and other restaurants. (We love to explore the local places!) The front desk only knows about the side trips offered by the hotel, and would not suggest alternatives. Do NOT go on the snorkeling trip to Catalinas Islands with their trip (or at least ask whether it is only snorkeling; our trip had divers too and the boat left us in deep water!- very unsafe). Overall we made a great choice in choosing this hotel. Grounds were pretty; room was comfortable; staff was friendly and the location was amazing.…
This place is awesome! So quaint and quiet, it was perfect. We had a group of 8, so 4 rooms, and all the rooms were different and cute & cozy. The service was great, the drinks were cold and unique. We can't say enough about the people and the grounds and how great it all was. The location is perfect to be able to walk to everything in Tamarindo. And Tamarindo is awesome in itself. We had breakfast and lunch most days and the food was very good, a good variety, and items were hot and fresh. We only had dinner 1 night, as we were in town quite a bit, but it was very tasty, well seasoned. We will stay here again on our next visit to Tamarindo!!
Excellent boutique hotel located really close to the beach & shops. Friendly efficient service from all staff. First class rooms and really excellent food & drink, and beautiful well maintained gardens with varied wild-life always on view. Add to that the lovely swimming pool & bars, easy access to beach garden, bar and beach itself where both swimming and surfing are popular.
We just returned from this fabulous hotel We were there during the outbreak of the Covid19 virus in California. Our friends advised us to sty put so we extended our stay for a couple of days until it was imperative that we get back to the United States. We felt like we were innparadise and we were. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was fabulous. They could not have been more responsive and accommodating and always with a smile. I whole heartedly recommend this hotel.
