This hotel is just a short walk to the beach and many local shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well kept. The A/C worked great! The staff was helpful and accommodating. Only stayed here a couple days but they helped make it feel like home.

We stayed here for a couple of days on our tour of Costa Rica. It is very clean, has great pools one with a jacuzzi, super helpful friendly staff, great quiet air con, big rooms, really close to the beach, shops and restaurants, the big plus for us was the new Mamagui restaurant that is part of the complex where you have breakfast. Best freshly cooked breakfast so far and very accommodating to my allergies, letting me mix and match the breakfast menu. The Italian guys running the restaurant are doing a great job with their delightful young team. We also had cocktails and dinner there with live music, highly recommended hotel and restaurant.

From the moment I arrived at the Hotel that staff made me feel welcome. Karina at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. Garden pool was even nicer than I had expected. I will definately stay there again.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights. After more than 2 weeks roadtrip and various hotel and airbnb thruogh out Costa Rica, we wete a bit causious concerning cleanliness. We got the room key and after 5 seconds in the room we re-booked for additional 4 days. The hotel and rooms are very clean and staff are cleaning every day incl fresh towels. Nice and stylish interior and just 4 min walk onto the beach. We recommend to try this hotel as it is really worth it and makes your holiday even nicer

Stayed here for few nights. Located in the center of this little town this hotel has also an expensive restaurant. The rooms are basic. Some have strong smell of cigarettes. They have 2 small pools and a little garden. The prices are reasonable.

It’s an older hotel right on the edge of town. Rooms are clean and maid service every day. Two small pools that are clean but the temperature of bath water. Every time the maid comes she leaves the door open, hence my extra roommate the lizard, and she turns off the A/C even though we turned it up to 80 when we left. I asked for a blanket (It’s a weight thing) and they asked if I wanted a thick or thin blanket. FYI a thin blanket is a sheet. There’s a little restaurant attached that serves breakfast which is really basic and bland. Dinner is terrific but the hours are limited. And it’s closed on Mondays but not posted anywhere. The restaurant is at the hotel but not run by the hotel. If all you need is a place to park your head and your suitcase this place will work perfectly. And it seems to be one of the better places in town.

A really lovely little hotel well placed for the shops, beach and a great coffee shop nearby. There’s good parking and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Love the pool and there was constant maintenance to keep everything looking smart.

The Ritz Carlton it is not but neither is the price. The standard of attention from the staff and the effort everyone goes to to make your stay as comfortable as possible makes this hotel an excellent choice at any price. At $70 per night over the Easter weekend, compared to everything else we looked at, it was a bargain. For an extra $7 they’ll do a good basic breakfast or there is an excellent coffee shop across the road where you can pay more. We had a pool view room which was excellent - very quiet but centrally located 5 mins walk from the beach. Not sure I’d want to be facing the road but most nights it seemed pretty quiet. Good AC in the room with a working small fridge, clean towels and a clean room. Very friendly staff.

Small, basic room, older but clean and well kept. Private balcony overlooking pool is nice. Had some car troubles and Corinna at the front desk really went the extra mile to help us. Hotel is in town where parking is tricky but not impossible. Breakfast at the hotel was basic but good. Pool and jetted tub (not hot) were clean and surrounded by flowers. Walking distance to the beach and bakery is across the street. Would definitely stay there again.
