The experience here was friendly, courteous and first class. The food/dining was traditional and some of the best food we experienced on our trip. The staff was attentive and helpful when we arrived under stressfull circumstances. The proximity to playa grande is a plus (its one of the most beautiful beaches on the pacfic side of costa rica) and taco...

Good home cooking friendly service What a sunset !!!👍🏼 The place was located on the end of the road. Security was in the parking lots to look over our vehicles. They spoke English . The rooms were cozy with clean sheets I have nothing bad to say about this hotel The only problems I had were done on my own...

Stopped here for lunch. They have a very nice restaurant with a balcony where you can see the beach and ocean. My Blt was very good and chips ok. I really liked that they brought the ketchup in a large covered bowl. Hate the little packages. I always try the apple pie when I can. Their pie was a very...

We had a wonderful magical stay at the Hotel Las Tortugas in January of 2017. The owner, Louis, made sure we were comfortable and safe. He was also witty, fun, and we enjoyed gathering with he, his dogs, and friends each evening to watch the fantastic sunsets. The employees at the front desk were polite, helpful and spoke very good...

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly it. The hotel is on the beach with a small restaurant, pool and comfortable rooms. It is not a fancy or super modern inn - there are no TVs and the wifi works only around the bar and pool, but walking out to the beach for sunrise or sunset was quite pleasant. Beds...

Right on the Playa Grande beach, and run by local people. The rooms are ok, but a little dilapidated. A/C is effective.Pool is good. Food is average for CR. Cash only, no cards. It is quiet i.e. no continuous background music. Happy hour 5-6pm. Good early morning canoe trips to watch wildlife in the mangroves at reasonable price. Turtles becoming...

As close to the beach as you can get with a hotel in Playa Grande, and really affordable. They have a variety of room types and sizes. Also apartments a couple hundred yards away from the beach. Johanna and the other folks working there are really helpful and always wear a smile. The food is ok, not awesome, but breakfast...

A college friend suggested this hotel for our surf trip to Costa Rica during college winter break. My expectations weren't high, but was pleasantly surprised! It was spread out, nice pool to cool down in with many shaded areas to take cover from the harsh central American sun. The staff were very personable and even cooked some fish our group...

This is not a review for the hotel but the estuary tour organised by the hotel. Our estuary canoeing tour with the hotel was booked by the property manager at Indra Inn - the place we stayed and we agreed on a price of 25 USD per person. The guide Johnathon was OK - we could not hear much from...

This lovely hotel is inside the national park, and reflects the values and sensitivities of it. We arrived without reservations, and were stunned to find how reasonable the rate was ($85/night). We had Rm 4, with its own patio next to the very nice pool and hot tub. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There is a path...
