Ate here a few times, mostly for sushi. The chef ( I wish I could remember his name)
was totally honest about what fish was locally caught and what wasn't. For instance many restaurants said they had fresh Mahi-Mahi. He said and I know him...More
We had dinner there 2 times and loved it. The sushi chef was very honest about which items were fresh and which were not. He also prepared excellent meals for us and the food was delicious. Very nice setting in quiet location.
Stayed here one night. Cost was $130US.

The coco palms is a cosy delightful hotel with large and clean rooms. It is located close to the nice beach "playa del coco" and to the downtown.
The restaurant serves very good food (among others the ceviche was delicious !)

I did not arrive at the Liberia airport, but I did fly out of there. A hotel staff member was kind enough to drive me to the airport from the hotel. It is very close, maybe 20 minutes drive. I would call the hotel to see if they will pick you up, for a fee, or take a taxi.
