This a unbelievable view when de the rio jabillo goes into the sea, even better by sunset. The rooms are nice and clean all you need on such a remote place. The restaurant which served only breakfast is average, the people running the place are very friendly but the speak 0 English. Nice beaches around, very remote especially playa San...

Didn't stay there but visited daily for great views, horseback riding, and drinks. Super friendly and accommodating. Look forward to going back. Took a tour and rooms are very nice. Friends stayed there in the past and loved it. Great location and park beach close by.

Everything was terrible, except view. This was the worst hotel in our 10 day trip in Costa rica. Definately overrated and overpriced!! The rooms was almost good, except a lot of insects in room. The towels were very old, with holes. The shampoo dispenser was empty or broken. The staff do not speak any word in english as it was...

I recently enjoyed my second stay at Casa Caletas during my day/night off volunteering with Pretoma and Turtle Trax at Playa Caletas. Since we volunteers staying on the beach are in more rustic conditions, the hotel always seems like heaven. It's a small hotel with about 8 rooms, but it seems larger because of how it's spread out over the...

I am a volunteer with Pretoma here on the beaches of Costa Rica. I came here on my day off. We had walked an hour from our work site to get here, with backpacks. When we arrived, the room was nice, but the restaurant was closed, however the bar was open. It was a Saturday morning. I was told the...

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Caletas. We trusted the GPS to get us to this lovely hotel and thankfully we made it. It felt like a very long drive on a dirt road through small towns, but oh my was it worth it! The views of the river and beach are spectacular and like nothing else we saw...

We are just completing our second night here and enjoyed the surroundings immensely. My wife and I spent the day driving around the dirt roads, talking to locals and observing agricultural operations. Walked on a deserted beach. Very romantic. The staff is outstanding. Be warned if you come here, the accommodations are not the Ritz Carlton. More like an older...

My husband and I took a motorcycle trip and ended up at this lovely boutique hotel. Everything was so tastefully done! The location and its is amazing. We saw nesting pelicans, howler monkeys, parakeets, and Frigate birds, all form the delicious warmth of the pool! I really appreciate it when things are simple yet elegant: the closets, the art, the...

We arrived at this hotel intending to only stay one night and immediately fell in love with it, extending our stay another night. The view was fantastic, our room was fantastic, and the staff was amazing. We felt so welcomed by the staff. The food there was delicious as well. You can't go wrong with this hotel, it has the...

This place was incredible. The views, the landscapes, the pool, the food, the service all top notch!!! Great couples getaway. It is a bit isolated so you need to have your transportation set up, but totally worth it!!!
