We had five for a one-night stay upon landing in Liberia, and before departing for points south the next day. The Aserradero was an unexpected and welcome delight from beginning to end. The rooms are serviceable, the beds are adequate, the television is charmingly tiny, the hot water gets hot, one of the front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, bus and taxi connections are very...

We have stayed here three times when flying in/out of Liberia. It is a good budget option: basic rooms, clean, AC, near restaurants, helpful staff. It can get a little noisy because it is by the highway and a bar.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in mid-March 2005. We were in the area for his biology field research. This is a mid-low price range motel right off the PanAmerican Highway. It is near Hotel Boyeros and Hotel Bramadero and the 2 Best Westerns We paid $35 per night. The Fodors review is pretty accurate. Although the...

“Request a room facing the inner corridor and toward the back of the hotel - this will help you avoid the business noise on one side, variable nightlife noise on the other side, and traffic noise toward the front.”
