We stayed Nov25-30 2016., in the luxury suites. We travelled with another couple. Our room was wonderful, with awesome views of the volcano. Quick tip* if you want to take pictures of the volcano don't wait! The weather and cloud cover can change on a dime, one minute it's in perfect sight, the next, hidden behind clouds! Our room was... We went for the suite because the price difference was only US20 a night. The room was very spacious, love the semi-outdoor shower and the Jacuzzi on the other side of the room facing the volcano. Breakfast selection was not as nice as other places we have stayed in Costa Rica but the room really did it for us.

The views here are outstanding. Every room has a balcony with a view of the volcano. So amazing. We stayed here for two nights. Service was really good. Food was mediocre at best and expensive so I would go into Fortuna. We had a car, so this was not a problem. One night, we had arranged for the river float... More

If you are looking for a really unique place to spend in Costa Rica, The Lost Iguana is the place to go. It is near the Arenal Volcano and next to Lake Arenal. It's not your typical resort...It is literally in the middle of the jungle. When you open your doors to your balcony, the sounds are amazing...either from the... More

In limiting the number of guest rooms, the owner is able to attend to every comfort and artistic detail to make a stay an exciting treat of visual beauty and comfort. There is a carefully framed view of the managed jungle outside each large window and private deck for each room. Quite miraculous! The walk to their landscaped pool, bar... More

Great location the hotel molds itself with the natural landscape with a great view of the volcano that towers on the horizon. Its a beautiful place. Food was ok and A/C didnt work very well on our room. But thats just two little things contrasting with a comfortable room and a really positive experience.

This was our last hotel on our 3 week trip to Costa Rica. We were greeted with warmth and smiles and a beautiful room with a view of the Arenal Volcano to die for. We were high up on the road and were given a ride on the golf cart any time we needed it. It was great as it... More
