Don't get me wrong this is a fab hotel and if you arrived without expectation I have no doubt anyone would love. The extensive hot pool labyrinth, the swim up bar and the spacious rooms all are excellent! Had a few gripes; the place felt very empty and under populated. The grounds are vast and while privacy is appreciated it...

This resort is special in so many ways. From the moment we were greeted at the car, escorted to the front desk, and provided a brief tour encounter to our room we were pampered each step of the way by Kaylor. The room, #26 was huge, and the view of the volcano spectacular! We arrived on a sunny day which...

5 starts service, best food ever (even the sushis are good!), longgg drink list, the nicest room I saw in my life with Volcano view! The food of the panoramic view restaurant is amazing. The room is completly insane not only because of the volcano view but for the big balcony, the crazy bathroom with carved bath and big separeted...

We vacated two other "luxury" locations in Jaco and Playa Hermosa before settling on driving to The Springs Resort and Spa. It was twice as expensive as the other places per night but we were sick of dealing with mold and mildew at the beach or non-functioning ACs. We called our airline and cut our trip short by two weeks...

We stopped here for the hot springs, but unfortunately stayed elsewhere (this place is pretty $$$ to stay)! -----Very important to note that The Springs has a reciprocal relationship with La Paz Waterfall Gardens. We received half off our entrance to The Springs which ended up being only $30 per person for a 2 day pass!!------ This place is fantastic...

Arenal Spings Resort was the first leg of our trip. We took the 3 1/2 hour car ride from San Jose to the Springs Resort. Upon arriving, the entire resort was engulfed in clouds. Unfortunately, we never saw the sun while at Arenal for our 3 night stay. We were upgraded to a family suite which was beautiful. We enjoyed...

Really lovely hotel built down the side of a mountain facing Arenal Volcano. Beautiful hotel, really nice people. Lovely pools and hot springs. Nice activities. Loved the views from the hotel, enjoyed being there, but no desire to return. Something just a little off.

My husband and I spent a wonderful 3 days here in September. We spent half of the week on the beach at the Four Seasons and then made the journey up to this beautiful property. In the end, we wished we had spent more time here. We had great luck with the weather at both locations- it was clear and...

I do not have one complaint about this property. The service is simply outstanding and the property absolutely stunning. Every detail of the property is immaculate. Some may say a little over the top but when you are spoiling yourself, a little bit of "over the top" is fine by me. I should mention the food as well as we...
