I gave this 4 stars, because the grounds, and facilities were worthy of a 5. The food was very good, but not outstanding. We just came from the sister property so perhaps I am jaded based on how awesome that was. The road getting here is very long and very bumpy....this is Costa Rica and to be expected, but it...

Excellent service - breakfast buffet was fantastic! Hotel rooms are large, each with a large balcony and if the weather is nice, a spectacular view of the Volcano. The road into the hotel is long and very damaged- in need of repair. The springs are warm/hot and great.to relax in. At the bottom.of the springs is a short but fun...

Once you get past the bumpy road leading in, this is a great resort. Our room (Vista Grande) was big and beautiful- great bathroom, great balcony, great view of volcano. All food and drink were excellent-we ate at almost every restaurant in the resort-all top quality. The hot springs pools are very nice-some quite secluded. Nicest hot spring was down...

I must say, I don't normally right such a detailed review but I hope this helps with the decision when considering this location. We arrived by helicopter and were greeted by David. We couldn't help but think of the old show "Fantasy Island" David was very welcoming and personable. We were so struck by the pure beauty of the ground...

We had a great stay at the hotel. The service was great. They arranged excursions and had a lot to do that was well organized. It was a bit of a drive from the airport and the weather did not behave but we still enjoyed the activities. The people staying there were also a good crowd - mainly people enjoying...

This hotel was beautiful and a true Costa Rican experience. The 29 hot springs were relaxing for everyone in the family. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the restaurants at the hotel also offered good dinner options. This was truly a unique hotel/destination.

I stayed at the Springs Resort for three nights before heading to the Four Seasons in Papagayo. Although the Four Seasons is indeed luxurious, I prefer the Springs. The long difficult ride to Arenal/La Fortuna is worth it! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We tried everything: the hanging bridges, tubing, bird watching, ATVs, but my clear favorite was the 6am...

This hotel is like a natursl Disney experience. It has many natural dotings built in to the complex's decor. You have to visit them all. The cocktail are expensive at about $11 each. The breakfast buffet is wonderful at $22. We rooms are fab with spectacular views. My only complaints are that the beds are lumpy and the pool bar...

I can't say how amazing this hotel was!!! We absolutely loved it! Upon walking in you arrive in an open air lobby with breathtaking views. The common spaces and the guest rooms have the most beautiful wood detail everywhere. The rooms are huge with vaulted ceilings and enormous windows, even the bathroom is spectacular!! Enormous Jacuzzi with gorgeous woodwork all...
