Just one night here but would definitely choose it again if we came back to Turrialba. Staff was very helpful and friendly, felt safe, free lockers available. We stayed in the dorm room and had it to ourselves. Full kitchen looked great, interesting people to have conversations with on the back patio. Very good value.

Really liked this place. Convenient for white water rafting down the PACUAURE. Room was big and comfortable and it had the best shower I had in the whole of Costa Rica. Kitchen facilities are good and the roof terrace a nice place to sit and chill :)

My family of 5--2 adults, 2 college-aged boys, 1 teen daughter--stayed at the Casa de Lis the night before rafting the Rio Pacuare. It was a perfect stopover! Because we arrived after dark and left first thing the following morning, we did not miss a view of the Costa Rican landscape, and we did enjoy being in a Costa Rican...

Great place, very clean, very friendly and helpful. Well equipped kitchen. All you could need. Tea and coffee provided. Upper terrace with view of volcano and a cute terrace garden out the back. Only stayed one night as they were fully booked, had to change to another across the street, which the receptionist kindly booked for us.

We had a 3 bunk bed room with private bath for our family of 4 (so even though this is a hostel, we had close to a hotel like experience). This hostel is extremely well run, clean, and staff is very helpful; there is free coffee in am and a great little back yard and roof terrace (also a fully...

This hostel was kept quiet and clean. It has a well equipped kitchen. It is centrally located. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are a couple of nice outside sitting areas. The room was clean. The tv had cable channels. Air conditioning is not needed and a couple of blankets are supplied. I'd recommend this hostel. It has a...

Great location in the centre of town, really helpful and friendly staff, spotless rooms with clean towels and cotton sheets, wet room, lovely garden and roof terrace with a view of the volcano...perfect. A lot of people come here for the rafting but I wish I'd had more time. Some great hiking to be done through indigenous villages and casa...

Turrialba might not be a great hotspot, this hostel is! Tucked away in a small street in the centre this hostel from the outside looks rather small, once you get inside you will see it is not. First of all you will be greated by Liset, the owner or one of the staff members. We stayed in a dorm which...

We stayed here for about 2 weeks in all and it was one of the nicest hostels in all our travels around central and south america. The private rooms were hotel standard!! When our finances wouldn't allow it, we used the dorm rooms, which were also very nice. It was spotless throughout and the kitchen was well equipped. The free coffee...
