Host is wonderful and the price is fantastic, but it's a hefty trade-off. Thumping dance music will keep you awake most of the night, until the farmer's market folks start setting up around 4 AM. Otherwise, place is clean and pleasant

Very comfortable wheelchair friendly rooms. Plus a great location right in the middle of downtown. AND a super friendly and helpful hostess. Plus great views of the volcano which is active currently. AND prices are very reasonable

Lovely host who owns the property, very chatty, friendly and helpful. Booked us the pacuare white water rafting tour and we were picked up directly from the hostel. Turrialba as a place is quite empty, I think most people just come for the river rafting....More
