We planned to stay 2 nights but left after one. It was odd enough that a bed and breakfast only serves breakfast if you pay an additional $8 per person but when we got there to find the pool is still not repaired, therefore not usable, the towels were thread bare and there is no place comfortable to sit, only...

We stayed several happy days at Rio Verde in Sarchi. We had a very nice and comfortable cabin which we all enjoyed. Excellent for moving around in the area and the hosts were very helpful. Will gladly stay again another time. Thank you.

The view is amazing overlooking coffee plants and 3 different volcanoes. The rooms are very clean, slept soundly. Very nice landscaping of the property. The owners are great hosts and wonderful to talk with. They even pick you up downtown for free if you want. So glad we stayed there and if we go back, we will stay there again.--Laura...

We stayed 1 night in this B&B and it was our most horrible night of our entire stay in Costa Rica. 1. Firstly, they advertise themselves as a bed and breakfast but it is only when you arrive that they announce that breakfast is not included, unless you'd like to pay an additional 8$ per person 2. The studio we...

We decided to stay in Sarchi upon our arrival given it was close to the airport, and on the way to Fortuna which was our next stop. We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel once in Sarchi, but we called them, and one of the owners, Gisele, came to meet us in front of the church and we...

I stayed at Paraiso Rio Verde in March this year and really enjoyed my visit. Giselle and Reiner are friendly hosts who made sure that I was comfortable for my entire stay. I had a bungalow among beautiful "reina de la noche" trees and was awakened by parakeets and hummingbirds every morning. It was a bit tough to find and...

I stayed at Paraiso Rio Verde my last night in Costa Rica. Sarchi is only about 35 km. to the airport, thus leaving a short drive to the airport the next morning. We had a little trouble finding the hotel, so we called from a local restaurant, and Reiner kindly offered to meet us at the restaurant and lead us...

There is only one room with a view. The place is nicely situated, but the owners are basically unfriendly and do not do much around the place to keep it in good repair. The door didn't close properly and had giant cracks around it. The curtain rod fell off the wall just before we left. There are two chaise lounges...

We have stayed at Paraiso Rio Verde three times now. It is located right in the middle of Costa Rica, everything is 'an hour away'. The cabinas have full kitchens and are well made, plus affordable. Renier and Guiselle are great fun and very good hosts. We've been meaning to tell the world about this place. We hate to let...

For a real "Tico" flavor, this is the place. Coveniently located to all you'll want to see in Sarchi. The owners, Reiner and Guisele, are very accomodating and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We are scheduled to return next month.
