It is a huge resort property that is separated into 3 hotels. We came here to celebrate our 7 year anniversary with our young kids. We had had many chances communicated with the hotel representatives but not once mentioned that with kids, we are only allowed to access the very few amenities in the whole Nayara. We would have spend the same amount in other more kids friendly resort if we had been informed about this. To be completely honest, the food in Nayara garden wasn’t the best experience for us in Costa Rica. In downtown la fortuna you could find so much better food with just a fraction of the price. By the way, we paid a premium price to book the resort through Amex FHR but traveling with kids we lost the upgrade eligibility and the Amex credit can only be used in spa. WTH!!!!!!! Despite all the hotel administration defects we still felt the great energy from the staffs here. Everyone seems to be happy working in the resort. Shout out to: William at the breakfast. We were so lucky to meet him. He gave great recommendations and went above and beyond to plan great itinerary for us. Andrés in the bell service. He gave us a great tour for the Nayara resort and spotted a sloth for us. Josue in the bell service. Great service and great hospitality.

Dear AndyL949, I am very sorry to read that you were disappointed with your stay at Nayara. Our configuration allows for our three properties to share amenities while still providing an adults-only experience at Nayara Springs. With two restaurants, multiple thermal pools, and our many excursions, we strive to provide a wide range of activities for families while still allowing for a child-free area for those who prefer a tranquil respite away from children. We deeply apologize that we did not community this properly prior to your visit. Please reach out to me directly at jairo.quesada@nayararesorts.com so we can further discuss your concerns. Again, my apologies, and I hope to hear from you very soon. Sincerely, Jairo Quesada Resort Manager

Nayara Gardens is incredibly beautiful. It has a team of excellent, well trained staff that go above and beyond to make your stay special. We loved every second of our stay here. Their food and service is probably the best in the world. The warmth and hospitality of their team will make you feel like you are their family. We tried all of their restaurants and each is unique with excellent food and live music. Their Spa and Gym are fantastic. Hotel WiFi is extremely fast. The resort is set in a rain forest which is extremely scenic. You wake up to the sounds of birds/animals and have the best breakfast in the world. Hotel is also extremely safe during the pandemic. Face masks, hand hygiene and social distancing has been incorporated seamlessly without compromising any of the amenities. I can’t wait to visit this paradise again. Pura Vida.

Costa Rica offers the best of both worlds .. and one of the only countries open for business on hopefully this tail end of the pandemic.. At Niagara Springs you are literally in the middle of the rainforest. Every detail is carefully thought out and planned. We stayed in one of the Casitas which was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The grounds are amazing .. thermal water bath, lap pool, nature walk, incredible flora and fauna. However, Nayara’s biggest asset is it’s personalized service and staff.. Luis, front desk manager and cutie Carlos made sure that every detail of our program was perfect. He managed all our spa treatments and Eco adventure trips as well as reservations at their fine dining restaurants. All the restaurants are amazing but my favorite was the breakfast...Max was friendly and always had a special twinkle in his eyes. We loved Max and highly suggest huevos rancheros and the avocado toast. Green juice was yummy coffee amazing . You must also do a spa treatment.. treatment rooms are unforgettable .. hanging over the canopy of the forest.. no need for background music as the natural sounds of the forests will serve as your lullaby. Special shout out Arlene for all her extra touches that made the experience unique. If you are an early riser make sure you do a nature walk with Mariela. She knows so much about the ecosystem .. howling monkeys, sloths... iguanas.. and was extremely professional ..great for adults and kids as well.. Costa Rica does not disappoint as a travel destination and Nayara resort was top! Highly recommend..

We have been home for three weeks from our visit to Nayara Gardens and wish every day that we were still there. This was our second time visiting this resort and it did not disappoint even during COVID. The entire resort was extremely clean with high safety protocols in place. But what really made our visit so memorable was the staff. This team really knows how to treat their guests. In fact we felt more like family. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I have traveled extensively and this is one of the best. This property is built on a hillside so there are some challenging hills depending on your casita location but golf cart transportation is available upon request. Every cart driver was friendly and accommodating even taking us on detours to see a sloth or touring the new tent area (which are gorgeous). The grounds of this resort are one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed, overlooking the magical Arenal Volcano with winding pathways lined with lush tropical vegetation. We were pleasantly surprised with the new addition of thermal pools in the new Nayara Tent area and wished we spent more time there. The food was incredible at all the restaurants we visited. Breakfast is included and is very fresh and plentiful and we had wonderful dinners at Asia Luna and Mis Amores. Special shout out to Grace and Donald who were wonderful. I could go on and on about this enchanting place and cannot wait to return again.

Dear sutton04, Thank you so much for your lovely review of our resort. It was absolutely our pleasure to welcome you back to Nayara. We love it when our Nayara family returns and gets to see the many changes we have made. We were also pleased to read of your comfort level with our COVID safety protocols. We are fortunate that our resort allows for so much outdoor eating and activity, making a COVID vacation possible. Of course, we cannot wait to welcome you back AGAIN very soon. Pura Vida!
