No TV. Light bulb in bathroom was on the ceiling, so very dim lighting to see yourself in the mirror. Breakfast was not good, just eggs and toast, or a sickly sweet omelette. Friendly staff. Cool concept. Animal noises did make it hard to sleep through the night. Great location for tours. Room service turned over our rooms every time... More

My husband and I had an amazing time at this Eco Lodge. We were welcomed like family, treated like dear friends, and left with many happy memories and life-changing experiences. Breakfast on the terrace surrounded by lush vegetation and with lots of beautiful birds visiting the many fruit feeders. Our thanks to Andres for being such a knowledgeable guide, careful... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to explore Arenal. Everything about the place was great. Just far enough out of town that it feels like the jungle, close enough to drive in within 5 mins for dinner. Room was big, very clean and well appointed. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we even checked in about 3h early. Also did the... More

I am writing about the Arenal night time oasis tour. This is a walk of less than a mile in which my tour guide Isaac was able to point out an animal about every five steps. We saw beautiful frogs toads even snakes and from a distance the eyelash pit viper. Don't worry it is completely safe because Isaac knows... More

The accommodations are rustic but just fine for a stay at Arenal. We were hardly in our room anyway. The staff at Arenal Oasis are marvelous - from the front desk to the restaurant to the frog tour - everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We especially enjoyed having breakfast while our server put out fruit for the birds,... More

This is a real paradise!!! An Oasis full of life and biodiversity! Experienced the real "Pura Vida", nice log cabins in the woods, great dining area with bird feeders and great food, very clean and private, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

It was such a treat to stay at Arenal Oasis Lodge. Their bungalows are in the middle of a reserve and it feels like you have your own little jungle retreat. The bungalows are lovely and I was actually pleasantly surprised by their quality. They have no air con but that didn't bother us. The staff are fab but a... More

Arenal Oasis was very cozy and quiet, we had no neighbors. The cabin is lovely and the shower had lots of hot water. The Frog tour at night is right on the grounds and is 2 hours long and our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw lots of frogs, large spiders, night birds, moths, lizards and other fascinating insects. Our... More

Basic accommodation although clean and adequate. The restaurant is in a small clearing in the forest so attracts biting insects. However it was pleasant to watch beautiful birds come and feed on the fruit put out for them. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The wildlife reserve was interesting and we enjoyed walk around the foot of the volcano... More

We made the night walk tour with our guide Isaac and it was absolutely fantastic. See lot of frogs with wonderful colors. Isaac had a lot of knowledge about the flora and fauna so we learnt so much with him. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Thanks again guys. Seb
