We stayed here recently for two nights. Everything you need and want is right on the property: swimming pool, hot springs pool, outdoor bar, and great restaurant. The waiter was exceptionally good. The property is beautiful and faces directly at the Arenal Volcano. The individual cabins were clean and well-appointed. Our son was sick for 24 hours so it was... More

We stayed there 3 nights. It is right outside of town and very quiet. The room was impeccable. The hot spring was great and the free facial quite a treat. Breakfasts were wonderful. If you want a room with good views of the volcano, stay in the back of the property. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arenal.

This hotel goes out of its way to welcome you. We arrived early after several hours of traveling and our room was ready. We were quickly given a cool drink and I was scheduled for a free facial. The grounds are immaculate with so many plants. We enjoyed the hot springs there several times and the woman who served us... More

El Silencio del Campo is a great choice in Arenal. A true gem. Perfect location with awesome volcano views from our cabin. Great breakfasts (included) and dinner, lovely grounds and they have their own very private Hot Spring right on the property. Very No need to go to the overcrowded and overpriced Hot Springs in the area. Believe me we... More

I stayed at this hotel for three nights last week. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. I stayed in cabin 11. The bathroom shower left knob had problems, which caused the water to run. The maintenance guy was very nice and prompt. The staff was outstanding and were so willing to assist you and make... More

The bungalow style accommodation made it feel very private. Inside was very clean and having the AC was a welcome comfort. The beds were comfortable enough. Perhaps they could improve on the lighting especially by the bed when you are trying to read the brochures of activities you would like to do. We had cabin #2 with front row view... More

When I checked in we received one complimentary volcanic mud facial, which of course led us to get another for my wife, at their spa. The spa was gorgeous, in the back of the compound in new outdoor bungalos, with the sounds of a creek, birds and natural flower smells that can't be replicated indoors. The second facial/massage was around... More

Had the good fortune of staying here a few nights on my recent honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful place! The landscaping is delightful, the rooms are practically private cabins, you have a great view of arrenal peak in the morning. The air there even smelled wonderful! It has a very nice hot springs and spa on site as well. One complaint would... More

Trip Advisor does it again! We chose El Silencio based on reviews, and it was everything all reviewers said. Great cabins with gorgeous gardens and beautiful views of Arenal, kind and helpful staff who help you with all your needs, excellent food and a fantastic hot springs pool that we visited every night. The experience was enhanced by the details.... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May and we loved it! The little casitas are simple, but are nice and private. The grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely view of the volcano. The staff are all very friendly and were very helpful for any of our needs. The breakfast that was... More
