This was an excellent hotel. The rooms were small but I liked that they were bungalow style. Needed chits in rooms so you don't have to sit on beds. Gardens were beautiful and the hot springs pools were awesome. The pool Bar served up great drinks try the BBC and thank me later

On a trip with my husband and this was our first stay. Felt like royalty. Treated us wonderfully. This place is beautiful and I would highly recommend. Shuttles picked us up at hotel for our adventures. Front desk for us taxis when went to La Fortuna. Yoga nice. Didn't get chance to try out spa. Hot springs are wonderfully relaxing...

Hi - we were immediately turned off by the request to wear plastic blue wristbands when checking in. This likely tainted our view. Staff was friendly & attentive, accommodations were clean. No issues at all there. Restaurant was very expensive, which we expected...but the quality of the food did not measure up.

This was listed as a 3* hotel in our Trailfinders bespoke travel pack, but very comfortably exceeded our expectations for a variety of reasons. I'll list the top five, and couple of minor not-so-good points: 1. Food and drinks - See photos of some of the food. I had chicken loaded with giant prawns in avocado one night, and the...

Was there during in 2013 and found the pools delightful. Each with a varying degree of heat, some VERY HOT, most quite refreshing. If memory serves, there was also an area where there was heated rocks that acted very much like a sauna. Highly recommended. It was only a day trip to the spa.

My husband and I came with another couple after New Years. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Arenal. Service is really good, everyone is so kind and nice. The view of the volcano is impressive, the facilities are well distributed so you never see too many people and the food is really tasty. Try the...

We stayed three nights at Arenal Springs Resort & Spa and thought it was absolutely wonderful. Our room (403) afforded us the most perfect view of the volcano. The photo I have included of the volcano was taken through the window! The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was also very large and had an incredible shower with...

We spent five days at the resort and it was fabulous. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and convenient. The pools are amazing. The view of the volcano are spectacular and the staff was wonderful. We ate in all three restaurants and enjoyed them all, but the Sushi Bar was our favorite. I highly recommend.

Met expectations. A little on the generic side. Service was ok, food was ok but pricey. Hot springs were nice. No issues but had a bit of a retirement community feel. Probably closer to 3.5 stars. Did not have a personal feel that other places we stayed in Costa Rica had, and the room was a bit cramped. At the...

We stayed at the resort with our family from Jan 1 - 5. The grounds are very well maintained. Our room was a two bedroom suite. Plenty of space and great views of the volcano! Great service at the restaurants in the resort. The springs on property were relaxing. I highly recommend this resort.
