Beautiful hotel location. People here were very nice & helpful. The rooms were okay; the private hottub surpassed all expectations. This resort keeps a plethora of the local vegetation around the property (if you're into that sort of thing). After we left this place for Tamarindo, we were very disappointed. This resort set the bar high for us.

Let's start with the drunk young man who was running around for three hours screaming "Angie" from 10p.m. to 1 a.m. While the hotel surely cannot control this, they were totally ineffective in stopping it. I called the front desk five times and was assured security had addressed the issue, only it did not stop. To make matters worse, the...

Lush green premise with thermal springs and pools with Jacuzzi, worth to stay here for the price. Restaurant and bars are good, specially Allan is very friendly and likes to be called Amigo. Volcano is right in front of you when you sit in the restaurant. Gracias.

I recently spent 3 nights at Volcano Lodge with my partner. The reception area was brand new, plus the hotel has recently added some hot springs. The rooms were freshly painted but the décor was a bit outdated. It seems as though the hotel is slowly making upgrades and enhancements. Well maintained grounds, pool and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet was...

Hotel had charm and beauty without too much extra extravagance. Staff was lovely, food great and scenary outstanding. This place doesn't have all the luxuries of a spa but loved it anyways. It had all the ammendies of modern comfort but still kept the beauty and tranquility of the natural surroundings

Great service! Pricing at the restaurant and gift shop were way better than those found in town. The food was excellent and wait staff was very attentive. The breakfast buffet had a a good selection of food included in the price of the hotel stay. Beautiful landscaping and great view of the Volcano, especially first thing in the morning. Love...

Wasn't too satisfied with front desk service. It felt the whole time like I was bothering them when trying to get info and furthermore, there was no info to give! What kind of hotel doesn't have maps? I felt like I was trapped at this hotel and they took advantage of my inexperience with their city to try to force...

This is a beautiful site, and the gardens help you enjoy it even more. The architecture is excellent with rooms close to nature. The hot springs were relaxing and very clean overall. The restaurant conviniently was closed to the pool, and the food was not extraordinary but more than just ok.
