An exceptional value that far exceeds what you would pay in comparison to hotels in the area. The staff is friendly and the grounds are beautiful! Offered a stunning view of the Arenal Volcano…and the moment is even more surreal as you soak in the hot spring pool or the hotel pool. We picked the room with a private hot...

The rooms are nice with private porches, and there are very nice landscaped walkways to the pool, hot springs, and restaurant. The food is very good and not expensive. And the included breakfast buffet has a cooked to order option, and many other items. We had two rooms for our family of 6. They were right next door to each...

The hotel was very nice and the hot springs were great! The gardens and the pools were also great. Only minor con was that the front staff aren't super friendly. Other than that, all the other staff was great.

My husband and I just returned from a ten day, three-stop trip to Costa Rica, and Volcano Lodge was our favorite hotel of the trip. In fact, we wished we'd have done the trip in reverse, as it was also our first hotel of the trip, and while our other lodging choices were also solid, none could outshine Volcano Lodge...

This was stop #1 of an 8 day Groupon vacation in Costa Rica. We were NOT disappointed. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, necessary 2 for 1 happy hour (after a long day of hiking or zip lining), Marvelous hot spring (also necessary after a long day of adventuring), and a very accommodating staff. Beautiful manicured grounds filled with beautiful plants and...
