My cousin and I stayed here for the first three nights of our Costa Rica vacation. The hotel is clean, but rooms are fairly basic. Our stay included breakfast (buffett) and a visit to the Paradise Hot Springs. Food in the hotel restaurant was good (nothing spectacular though). We were very limited with our dining options since we didn't have...

The rooms are nice and spacious, the amenities included are good and the food is delicious!! There are parking spots close to each room cluster and the terraces facing the gardens are refreshing. There are walking trails and jogging trails, so you can have your fill of going around the property. Additionally, the staff are very friendly and professional.

The Volcano Lodge was a great place for us to stay while in Costa Rica. The rooms were simply appointed, but incredibly clean. Our patio had a great view of the volcano. The grounds were impeccable! Throughout the property the gardens and landscaping were not only beautiful, but perfectly maintained. The entire staff provided great customer service, going out of...

This was our first hotel in our Costa Rica trip. It's was okay. The rooms were clean but fairly basic. Definitely had our share of critters hanging around, but that is expected. The pool and bar area were nice and comfortable. The food there was average. Nothing to write home about. The staff was nice and friendly but it is...

Pros - This place was beautifully landscaped. It even had a short walking trail around the grounds. The staff was very courteous on any request. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and any expendable items were restocked daily. We loved the quiet environment, especially when relaxing on the rocking chairs on the back porch. Cons - It is located a few...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our honeymoon. They had wonderful service throughout the hotel - reception/concierge; bar; restaurant. The location has a beautiful view of the volcano. Swim up bar and hot tubs were nice. Our room had a little private backyard and patio. It was surrounded by bushes so you couldn't see your neighbors and...
