Las Collinas is the perfect location for anyone traveling to Fortuna. It is right downtown with, a quick walk from all the bars, restaurants, and shops. All the outdoor activities are a 10 minute drive away. There is also a balcony that has a amazing view of Arenal. The staff was terrific as well. The hotel is family owned and... More

Very nice, modest, clean hotel. with very helpful staff and a wonderful typical Costa Rican breakfast included. The rooms are clean with A/C. Ours had a full front view of Arenal Volcano. The staff spoke English. The location is close to the town center in downtown La Fortuna, a quiet, safe, tourist friendly yet without giving up their national traditions.

Thanks for your review! Our hotel is a great option for the people than wants to be down town, if the guest is looking for 100% silence we recomend you to stay in a lodge. Of course there are people than are more sensible to the noise than others. In Costa Rica there are septic systems, that is why toilet... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Colinas for our honeymoon. It is a modest hotel but has a beautiful view of the volcano, lovely, peaceful terraces in the center of the hotel, and is conveniently located within walking distance of many bodegas, restaurants, and bars. The staff was exceptional and the free breakfast was amazing!! So delicious!! The juice... More

Clean room with air conditioning. Close to eating and shopping, but I wouldn't walk around at night time. Its about a mile to mile 1/2 to the waterfall, not a long walk but not a short one either. It's humid the closer you get, so make sure you have water.

This hotel is a converted indoor shopping mall. Rooms are quite spacious but poorly lit when the drapes are drawn. There are plenty of windows but they all open to the interior of the hotel and you are visible to all on both floors. Rooms were clean and appropriately outfitted. We were four kids and three adults and were very please at Las Colinas. Staff was super. We has some funky first floor rooms (one had 6 beds and no closet) but worked well for us. Thank you for your review!! In fact the standard rooms in the first floor are perfect for families and friends groups, the rate is very fair and the rooms have enough space. We already add a clothing hanging tube in this room, so is much better now! Thank you and best regards, More

We made late reservations for our Christmas/New Year Costa Rica vacation, and ended up with a room here. The hotel is in the town. Hotel is in the town. Good location for food and shopping. We booked late and ended up with a room on the 1st floor. All the rooms on this floor looked like interior store cubicles turned into rooms.
