The location of this hotel and the price is what made us stay here. Everybody was very friendly, the receptionist was helpful with booking tours. The lobby looks nice and has a fun open air bar. The rooms are clean. Short: clean, friendly staff, good location and good price.

The details: $55/night, two people, booked directly on website Pros: - very clean - staff is always cleaning! - very helpful 'concierge' in Manrique, got us discounted tours w top notch Desafio for canyoneering ($75 vs $90 booking directly) - excellent rates within our target range (amongst hotel options ... hostel options also seemed available in town) - good, hearty...

We stayed 3 nights with a travel group. The food was tasty and inexpensive, the staff is friendly and polite, and pretty good with English. The rooms were clean and pleasant. We did not pay extra for air conditioning, and mostly did not miss it. The hotel is right in the heart of the town, easy walking to restaurants, laundry,...

This was a nice option in La Fortuna. It has a great location and excellent view of the volcano. The rooms are big and can accommodate four people easily. The only downside is that there is no guarded parking.

The desk help was superb, the room was simple and just what we needed for our stay, the included breakfast suited us just fine and the location was perfect! Our view was amazing. We opened our curtains both mornings and had a spectacular view of Arenal, the mysterious volcano.

We stayed at this hotel for one weekend during our month-long trip in Costa Rica. It is very clean and practical. It is not a luxury resort and is not a tourist attraction in itself, as are some of the resorts in this area. However, the location is good if you don't have a car. You can arrange for tours...

Overall I was pleasantly surprised about this hotel. It was so reasonably priced! The hotel staff went out of their way to help us pick activities to do in the area. They told us what places were worth going to and what could be skipped. The location was convenient because it was in town and within walking distance to a...

I stayed tat this hotel on 4th and 5th June. The building looks dated but it has been modernised inside. The ground floor has an open frontage with cafe/bar area with a modern but relaxed feel. They offer free internet access to the side of this area. The rooms are mainly doubles or singles and some do not have a...
