Our recent stay at Parisio was a most enjoyable experience. First, we were upgraded (don't know why) to a superior cabin in a quiet area. We were instantly impressed by the attractiveness, size of, and amenities inside the room. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Housekeeping kept the room spotless. The hotsprings were wonderful! They were well-maintained, and were progressively warmer. Loved...

Stayed here 3 nights as part of a small group tour. Had one of the concrete rooms, very large and clean, A/C very functionnal, had a great view of Arenal Volcano from the little terrace. Food in the restaurant was good (sea bass) and the hot springs were a great way to relax, having them on the property, but only...

We stayed here for 2 nights during our weeklong trip to Costa Rica. Overall, I would say this hotel was fine, but not outstanding. The Good: *The view WOULD have been incredible, if not for a ton of rain, clouds, and fog, brought in by a cold front from California (so we were told). On our last morning we could...

Needing to make a last minute decision we booked here for 2 nights in one of the superior cabins. Our view of the volcano was perfect and we were up near the top of the hot springs. There seem to be a ton of places within a minute or two away so if I were going back I might not...

My husband and I had stayed here 4 years ago for our honeymoon so we decided to go back on our second trip to Costa Rica. Since our return nothing in the rooms had been updated. At a hundred dollars a night I would think they could have retiled the showers by now. Our toilet tank was glued back together...

We stayed at the Arenal Paraiso Resort & Spa on February 3 & 4, 2010. We were in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and stayed at 7 different resorts/lodges. This is the only one we didn't like and we would never stay at this resort again. We were excited when we first got to the resort as the grounds were...

We spent two nights here during our honeymoon and were very pleased. We staid in the one for the superior rooms which is a stand-alone cabin with lots of foliage around, giving it a very secluded feel. Other cabins were actually fairly close, but you don't get that sense. The grounds are very well maintained and the plants and flowers...

This hotel was great! We were there Feb. 12-15, 2010. Although we were there with our company, the hotel treated us spectacularly. The rooms were very nice, roomy, comfortable beds. nice tile floors. HUGE shower! :) The hot springs were very relaxing. The water color was a little dingy, but thats only because it is natural water heated by the...

This hotel is not really a resort. There is a fair amount of activity available on the property, so if that is your thing this might be a good fit. Otherwise, the quality is fairly medicore. We stayed Feb 5-8 with 9 people (adults and kids). We had three Standard cabins, which were fine. Nothing spectacular and I can support...

Sorry I am a bit late writing this review, but better late than never. I spent 3 days here and I loved every minute of it. My only complaint was with check in. It was really slow and the "Superior room" we selected (because we were told they have a better view) was right behind a standard bungalow that totally...
