My Hisband and I got married in Costa Rica on feb. 29 2016. We booked 7 different hotels or rental properties for our vacation. Out of all of the locations, Princesa de la Luna Eco lodge was by FAR our favorite!!! The house is beautiful!! Stunning , unique , remote, exotic , SPACIOUS, and adventurous. I have no idea why...

We just returned from a 12-day trip to CR and my favorite part was the four days spent at Princesa de la Luna. The accommodations are rustic but comfortable. No TV, no A/C but no need for that! We were outside the whole time and the rooms were very cool at night. We had comfy beds and a hot shower....

First off, if you're anticipating a hotel you should reconsider. There is no AC and everything other than the room is outdoors. There will be bugs because this place is literally in the middle of the jungle. I think you pay for the experience and views more than the actual lodging situation. The room was very dark. However, we loved...

First of all many thanks to William, Wilmort and lady cook (sorry forgot the name). Thanks to their efforts to make us feel welcome, to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need we had the the most wonderful time around Arenal and left Costa Rica with lots of great memories. Imagine this: you arrive tired after an...

two couples, first time in CR, first time staying in ecolodge. we loved the bumpy, windy, unpaved road to ecolodge - made it seem more of a remote destination. ecolodge is situated on 10 acres of tropical rainforest, of COURSE you are going to have bugs (reading some of the bad reviews below...) but it's an accepted fact of being...

I have traveled pretty extensively and feel that I have an excellent grasp of what constitutes a good rating from a bad rating when evaluating a hotel or resort or ecolodges, etc. And, I will acknowledge that reviews can have a very subjective element. However, for this establishment, it falls under the category of "do I believe the majority of...

William and his staff along with the rustic jungle setting are what makes this stay an excellent stay. The first morning hike to the waterfalls and riverbed was excellent. William pointed out the plants, birds and animals on site, including their special cinnamon tree. He arranged our trip to Baldi hot springs, guided us to Mistico hanging birdges, arranged a...

Our family stayed at Princesa de la Luna recently, and we can't recommend it enough. On our first morning we were treated to an incredible hike around the property, which included river walking, waterfalls, and a mud bath (and another waterfall to wash off). Don't miss this--it was a highlight of our 16 days in Costa Rica. Our hosts were...

My friend and I just stayed for 3 nights. It is unlike anywhere we have stayed before. It's remote so you will find peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for. It is off the beaten path so make sure that's what you are anticipating. It is a little difficult to find taxis that are willing to...

We booked this Eco Lodge for two nights. Starting off things went well, my contact Jonathan Davies, responded promptly and answered all my questions. I read all the reviews and looked at all the pictures. I felt confident with our decision and couldn’t wait to stay here. We arrived to a deserted place. When we were finally welcomed, we were...
