Sadly, we were only here for two nights before driving south. I was a bit nervous with my two year old son and the drop offs mostly because my son never walks or slows down. But, the longer we were there, the more I was able to relax. William and Willmar were exceptional hosts, providing amazing meals, fruit juices, guidance...

Princesa de la Luna is an incredible eco lodge; we stayed in the cottage for 2 nights. The location is a peaceful, quiet setting and perfect for relaxation. Our room was clean, lots of towels, hot shower and comfortable beds. No need for air conditioning at the time we visited, the fan was sufficient with a nice breeze through the...

Seven of us stayed at the Pineapple House (La Casa de Piña) on the property. Very comfortable for two nights, and provided a great home base in between activities in the area. Minimally furnished, but seven of us were able to hang out together either outside around the picnic table/hammock or in the living room. Wi-fi was a little spotty...

Our family of 5 visited in Jan 2016. William welcomed us with a great home cooked meal. The food was so good here. We ventured off site to eat but each time we wished that we had just ate at there. If you're looking for a "hotel" type feel look elsewhere. If you want to experience Tico lifestyle and authentic...

Beautiful convenient location & very helpful & friendly staff. We had 7 in our party (Including one grandmother & 2 teenagers) & stayed in the Pineapple House. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that the house was a bit rugged, but that is what I expected from an Eco-lodge after all. We arrived after 11:00pm in the pouring...

We stayed at the Princesa de la Luna Eco Lodge in late November with our three children ages 7, 10 and 13 years. This was the best part of our trip! The hosts Will and William are the most welcoming people. They make you feel right at home. Our kids had a blast on the property tour walking through streams,...

Our family of 3 20-something-year-old kids and 2 adults stayed in the two upper balcony bedrooms for 4 nights at the end of rainy season in November. The atmosphere, privacy and location of the lodge made for a once-in-a-lifetime stay that blew away all our expectations. The views from the property are unlike anywhere else in La Fortuna. The food...

Me and my friend had a fantastic stay at the pineapple house and the resort Pricesa de la Luna! Such lovely and welcoming people working at the resort. It was a true unique experience for us Norwegians, living in the middle of the rainforest- such beautiful nature and all a rainforest can offer; birds, animals and amazing vegetation. We were...

Princesa de la Luna is amazing and magical and everything we imagined an authentic Costa Rican rainforest experience to be. We stayed in the Pineapple House, which is up the path from the main lodge. If you’re looking for a sanitized-resort-style experience than look elsewhere, but if you want to experience the magic and heartbeat of the jungle than you’ve...
