The worse part: we had a tour included in our reservation (already paid) and we presumed somebody would pick us up at the hostel, as usual, but no. We were suposed to go by ourselves to the place and nobody told us about it, so we missed the tour! And friendly he gave us the option of going walking (15km)....

I recently visited Costa Rica and stayed at your hotel (May 16-18). The purpose of my message is to commend you for the staff at the hotel. First of all, the place is so cute, comfortable and attractive, and it's in a good location. The rooms are clean and provide basic comforts. It was helpful to rent a car so...

Mario, the owner was extremely helpful in setting up our itinerary.I went on line first and picked out what I wanted to do and he scheduled it with discounts. We did rent a car, which I highly recommend, since you are somewhat remote at this hotel. Everything was clean and simple. Pool was cute. At night, you share the pool...

Upon arrival there was no one at reception. The office was dark and locked. We had to search for someone and a found a very young gal who's English was extremely limited. Thank God for google translate. The owner, Mario, was living it up in Florida riding on the wind of a Trip Advisor Award and naive travelers who bought...

We stayed here with a Groupon, so we were stuck for three days. The upside is that the garden is very pretty, and it was amusing to see the toads and frogs enjoying the pool at night. The downsize - you are really isolated and there is no one there who can help you. We originally were not renting a...

We read the reviews on tripadvisor before we came here, so we had mixed feelings when arriving. We stayed here 3 days, visiting from Florida. It's off the main road and you have to take an unpaved road, easy to miss if you don't have a gps. I highly recommend you have your own rental car, preferably a SUV. It's...

The hotel's back end abuts the jungle, so it's fair to expect the little bugs crawling around the sink, but cockroaches at night take away what little ambiance there is. This is a budget hotel/motel, albeit not at budget prices. The beds are fine, although the pillows are worn out. The air conditioner rattles, but at least it works. Warm...

We stayed here March 12-13 2014. We booked this hotel with orbitz based on the internet presentation and were very disappointed. First it is in an isolated area with nothing around it and is 10 minutes by taxi or car from town. There is nothing around. The room was VERY basic. No closet, bare fixtures on the ceiling, 2 old...

Hotel have nice atmosphere, helpful staff. Rooms are big, have an air condition, refrigerator, microwave; bathroom seems to have an old plumbing system, hot water is limited, but have shower head and hand which is very convenient. Hotel have nice swimming pool and a lot of different swings, including Tarzan swing, kids love this hotel. Food is good: scrambled eggs,...

We didn't like this hotel, actually I would call it a motel. The surroundings are fine, but room and service are really bad. The room had a smell of chlorine, the towels were old, one hand towel for 3 people, the fridge didn't work first, but was replaced. The breakfast wasn't appealing at all. Wouldn't recommend it.
