We stayed at this hotel the last night of our 11 day trip. After being in the jungle and getting used to checking everything for spiders and snakes, it was refreshing to feel like you didn't really have to do that here. The hotel was super clean and comfy. The little patio in the middle was wonderful for hanging out...

Needed a quick stop in Alajuela before an early morning departure and Los Volcanes could not have made it any easier. Located in central Alajuela, the hotel offers convenient dining options as well as proximity to the airport (5-10 minutes) for dropping off your car rental. The hotel price includes early morning shuttle to the airport as well as a...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, the staff was very friendly, the owner was there too assisting all customers all the time and making sure our stay would be as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was great, all the coffee we could drink, we could browse the internet too, free of course, the hotel impeccably clean. You can't beat...

This hotel is an 8 minute drive from the international airport. So it's closer to the airport from any airport in San Jose. Also, you can catch puddlejumper flights to anywhere in costa rica from the international airport via Sansa (NatureAir flights leave from the Pavas airport 30 minutes away). So basically, this hotel is in a great location. The...

Hi. Firstly, the shuttle to the airport was good and we left to early to have breakfast so not sure about that! But otherwise, I felt very unsafe in this area. The first corner we turned around when we went out for food had several people lying in the streets (panhandlers of individuals using drugs). The streets at night have...

First of all , we appreciate you took the time to post a review from our hotel. It is a pity, you did not like Alajuela . Our location could not be beat it. We are located just one block from the Central Park, Cathedral and just across the Museum, which has a narrow street on its side that unfortunately...

We had a wonderful stay in this Hotel. The staff was fabulous!! Very friendly and extremely helpful. Even helped us find our way around their kitchen to make ourselves some snacks to have with our rum! We were able to sit in the lovely courtyard and enjoy. The hotel is on a fairly busy street and there is noise during...

This hotel is located very close to the San Jose airport. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room and the bathroom was clean. They serve a delicious breakfast and provide a free shuttle to the airport. It is a walking distance to couple of restaurants and the supermarket. Great value for the money.

Stayed here just one night before flying out of SJO the next day. Was recommended by our host at a B&B in puerto viejo area. $74 cash which seemed a bit high for area, but the hotel was very pretty and had lovely patio/garden area. We were shown directly to our room which was tasteful and simply decorated, very clean,...

We booked one night here before flying back home out of San Jose airport. We really just needed somewhere to get a good night's sleep before a long day of travel. I liked that this hotel was in a location that still offered the ability to safely walk around to some restaurants/bars. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming and...
