I was exhausted when I arrived at Vida Tropical after a month of travel and flying out the next day. My room was near the front door. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed a very hot shower. It is in a residential neighborhood, very quiet at night. I slept very well. There were options for breakfast and it...

Although I didn't get to meet the bunnies, or experience much more than a bed to sleep on, I can't begin to describe how much at home Randy made me feel. I had gotten in late, and had to leave early for a flight. Randy greeted me at the door and showed me to my room. The bed was comfortable,...

Our car rental rep from Wild Rider suggested we stay at this place before returning home at the end of our trip. It is a short 10 minute maximum and easy car trip to the airport. Our GPS took us to Vida Tropical but we had a hard time figuring where the place was as the sign for it is...

In februari we stayed the first and last night of our 2-weeks trip in this nice B&B. The owner Randi was very helpful in advising what to do, what not to do, where to go, where not to go and he was also very helpful in renting a car for us. The rooms had a lot of space and the...

I have stayed at this place three times. It's a perfect place to get some rest once you land in Costa Rica or spend a night before your early flights. It is quiet, clean, and the manager, Randy, is beyond helpful. You are minutes away from the airport, and can walk to the center of (Alajuela) town. You are walking...

This place is great for the time you spend in the San Jose area. Just minutes away from the airport, minutes away for connecting to downtown San Jose by bus. The area is quiet and comfortable with local restaurants, soda and mini super.

Great budget option post/pre flight. Close to airport (around 2,500 colones in a taxi), avoiding the hellish traffic into San Jose. The manager, Randy, is so helpful and a lovely chap. Comfortable and clean, there’s a sitting room and garden to relax in, with wi-fi and an honesty drinks fridge; and you can leave your bags if you have a...

We stayed at Vida Tropical the first and last nights of our 12 day vacation. Its location is the perfect distance from the airport. What really makes the place is the staff! This was a quiet little sanctuary after a long day of travel. It's right near the airport, so it's convenient to get to. The staff is very fruendly and helpful, and the make a very nice breakfast. There are restaurants nearby that are within walking distance.
