After a long day in the air plane George warmly welcomed us at his B&B. The room was clean, but a little out-dated. The bathroom next to the room was clean and had a warm shower. The area is quiet so we had a good night sleep. George made us a lovely breakfast (before we left, at 7am) with the...

I stayed at Alegria B&B for three one-night stays at the beginning, middle and end of my Costa Rica adventures....glad I did! George has created almost a home-stay experience - his guest rooms are all comfortable, the common areas offer great spaces to relax and his gardens are lovely. George was quick to communicate when reserving, helpful, informative, interesting to...

So glad we found this place! After a long travel day it was so nice to have George waiting right at the airport exit for us. It's a nice quiet neighborhood only a few minutes drive from the airport. George was full of advice on how to spend our time in Costa Rica and the breakfast in the morning was...

My husband and I stopped in to stay at Alegria after flying in to SJO and before heading out to the Osa peninsula the next day. It was a brief stay but George was a very hospitable host, and made us feel right at home! Our breakfast was absolutely amazing and very filling, just what we needed before a long...

Wonderful and spacious B & B. George the owner will pick you up at the airport and bring you to his B & B. His comfortable and clean home will allow you to rest and gather yourself for your holiday travels. We have stayed here on several trips and always have enjoyed the amenities, including a lovely breakfast.

We have stayed at Allegria B&B with George for 3 years running and consider it our home away from home. We always ask for the largest room with the king sized bed. All of the others are very nice but we enjoy this big space the most. The breakfasts of fresh home made banana bread, home made sausage, omlette and...

We stayed here one night before catching a 3 a.m. flight. George, the owner, is a wonderful person. Reservations were easy and he was so kind. When our taxi didn't arrive fast enough he took us to the airport! The room was large and comfortable. It was rather hot as there was no air conditioning...which is my fault that I...

Ditto to all the other reviews. George was a wonderful host that had us feeling right at home on our last night in Costa Rica. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, and a perfect quiet nights sleep. George gave us a recommendation for food that evening and even gave us a ride to the restaurant. We had to...
