We stayed here for one night before catching a flight. Was a very basic hotel but clean, everything was shut at 6pm bar, pool etc. There is a casino 5 min walk away which does pretty good food and cheap drinks. A great hotel for the airport but wouldn't use it for any other reason. The taxi fare to the...

We stayed here our last night in Costa Rica. The hotel is cute and clean. The beds were the most comfortable that we slept in, during our 2 week vacation in CR. They are reasonably priced and good customer service.

This is a small hotel, only 18 rooms. They have a delightful little courtyard and pool in the back shaded by two mango trees. Sure there are noises from the planes taking off from the airport, but if you need a rest either before your tour of Costa Rica or before your tour starts, this is a delightful spot. The...

Stayed here to catch an early flight the next morning out of San José. The positive is that the hotel is extremely close to the airport but otherwise I was underwhelmed. The toilet flush was broken and there was no water to the shower so I wasn't able to take a much needed shower before flying home. Since I had...

Room was clean..dated but clean. Front desk lady was very nice. Should be about half the price but what can you expect for the close proximity to the airport. Has a hostel type feel to the hotel but a hotel price. Overall a decent place to crash last minute as the other hotels were all full and my car rental...

Had reserved somewhere else. Could never find it. Found Hotel Mango instead. Right next to Hampton House, Denny's, lots of places to eat. Not as expensive, but do offer a shuttle to airport ( so they say). Nice pool. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Safe place to leave your car. We were so happy to find it, with all of the...

It was clean(ish), cheap and close to the airport. I can forgive the former's shortcomings in light of the latter - this was simply somewhere to lay my weary head for a few nights after exhausting days in the bush. Importantly it's a very short and reasonable cab ride from the airport - and that proximity mattered to me for...

Last minute reservation due to flight cancellation. Arrived two am and departed 8 am. Although close to the airport and cheap cab ride the hotel didn't feel very safe. Flimsy doors and windows, dingy linens and minimal bathroom. Breakfast was blah. A place to rest our head and that's it. Staff is friendly enough.
