We took our son to Pursell Farms to celebrate his 12th birthday (and as an excuse for Mom and Dad to visit). The grounds are phenomenal and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room at the Inn was very nice and clean as was the rest of the property. There's a lot of fun socially-distanced things to do in the outdoors, but the cost does add up quickly. The food is good but not outstanding and the menus are pretty limited. Overall, though, a wonderful weekend visit and I look forward to coming back!

My husband and I went for a 3 day get away. Beautiful location, beautiful facilities and wonderful service. The staff was super helpful and friendly during our stay. We stayed in the King Suite which has a balcony overlooking the pool and part of the golf course. Easy play to go during the pandemic b/c we could easily avoid other people.

My husband and I invited close friends to attend the Tomato Taste held July 18 at the Hamilton House venue. While the grounds, the rooms at the Inn, and all the decor and employees were impeccable - the event was a total mis-hap. I suppose 'tasting' means just that - a taste only. For $85 each we could have eaten a very good meal in a restaurant close to our home. The portions were micro-sized and not exactly what was described on the menu posted prior to the event. I won't go into detail - but all 'tastes' were bland and obviously were past their prime by the time they left the kitchen. The promised 'pound cake with cream cheese ice cream' was a melted SMALL puddle of soggy cubes of cake and some unidentifiable bits of fruit and tomato. One dish was to have speck pork - my taste had none; one dish was to include cheese - didn't find it. And every dish was in desperate need of salt. Sadly we were charged $65 ++/person (with all the fees and gratuities actually $85) and there was NO LIVE music as advertised. I was embarrassed that we had built up the event to friends. We were done in a little over an hour and a half (we only stayed that long to chat with a local tv celebrity.) Thankfully there was plenty of wine offered to take the edge off the disappointed crowd. We went to a local bbq spot after the event to get some REAL food. This event was a RIP OFF.

Hi Rebecca, First of all, from our entire Pursell Farms team, we want to apologize this year's TomatoTaste event was not up to the standard you expected as advertised on the website, but please know we value your feedback and review to take into consideration as we plan future dinner events at The Farm. We are constantly learning, growing and challenging ourselves, but this would not be possible without the feedback and opinions of our guests. Please feel free to express any additional comments with Cameron Hayes, our Food & Beverage Director, at chayes@pursellfarms.com. We appreciate the constructive remarks you left with us so we can learn from our mishaps and hope to one day earn your trust again. Thank you.

Cheyene was fantastic! I will visit again just to see her! The fairways were tough due to arieation, but over all we had a great day. Cheyene was the best cart girl I ever had! Love the over all layout of the course. Can not wait to come back again next year

Ryan and I are so grateful to have had our wedding at Pursell Farms on June 13, 2020! After a series of unfortunate events regarding our initial wedding plans, we were left venue-less 3 weeks before the wedding and in desperate need of somewhere to host. We immediately reached out to the Fraser's who got us in contact with Whitney Forbus. She got the ball rolling so quickly to plan a 140+ person wedding in 3 weeks time! She was so flexible, easy to reach, quickly responsive, and worked so hard to make this the dream day for Ryan and I! She worked out all the bigger details and even asked about how she could incorporate little details to make this day everything we had dreamed! I really don't have enough great things to say about Pursell and their staff!! They were so kind and helpful throughout the planning process and the day-of. They had waters & coffee for us that morning, provided H&MU chairs/tables, took care of all the linens/table/chair setup, and so much more. We especially loved the yummy to-go box they prepared for us after the wedding that even included a slice of our cake! If you are looking for a place to hold your wedding, look no further! Not only is the staff top-notch, but the venue itself is overwhelmingly beautiful! Our guests loved staying at the Inn across the street and enjoying golf & the pool the whole weekend. We are still getting so many compliments about the food, the cake, the view, the staff, and so much more! June 13th may not have looked like what we thought - it was BETTER!!! Thank you SO much Pursell staff, Mr. Fraser, Whitney, and Leslie!!!

Hello Mrs. Jones!! Thank you, thank you for your kind review and feedback! It gives us such joy knowing our team was able to rally together to plan, detail and execute a beautiful wedding day despite some unfortunate circumstances for you left without a wedding venue! We were honored to host your wedding and had a great 3 weeks leading up to the wedding day, but that's just a reflection of the incredible team we have on site that can make dreams a reality. We wish you and Ryan much love and happiness and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!
