The room gives a very "tired" feel to it but it is spacious. There is a minmart nearby (5 mins walk) for supplies and about 20 minutes walk from the nearest subway station. There are eating places in the hotel but the services is very minimal. There are Korean restaurants about 20 minutes walk. Breakfast Buffet spread is less international...

Good hotel but showing signs of aging. Rooms poorly maintained and also housekeeping is an issue. Cannot be rated even as 4 star on some parameters. Has a great location in this part of the city though. But not worth spending more than 6000 cny per night. U get better options in that budget

Normal hotel in Shanghai. Nothing special but you have everything you need. Room was spacious and comfort. Breakfast was not really good and it was difficult to find something Western like for breakfast. Coffee was also horrible. Anyhow, for couple of nights business stay works fine.

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days, during an extended business visit. The hotel location was near my meeting venue, but otherwise far from the nice downtown. Checkin process was a bit challenging since most of the staff do not speak english, but were very very sincere in trying to help and fix any issue.  I got a room with...

I ended up here because I was presenting at a conference in the very near by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The hotel is also very convenient to a few other universities in the area and to the offices of some IT companies. But it is hardly a first choice if the objective to a Shanghai visit is the...

I guess this is a 3-star hotel. I rate it well below any well-run Holiday Inn Express. There were several things that left me unsatisfied with this hotel. First, we reserved a non-smoking room but got a smoking room ... and all the hallways on the floors I was on smelled like smoke. When we complained, they moved us ......

I was staying here during a recent conference. The only downside at this place is that the bathroom has a big glass window which separates the room and that could be a problem if you are sharing. But you can pull a curtain for privacy!! Food is a challenge in general for vegetarians in China, but there is a supermarket...

This hotel is very close to SHUFE and Fudan Universities. And probably that is how it gets most of its traffic. Nonetheless, it is actually easy to get in and out of central Shanghai from here and the hotel itself is as good as the larger, brand name hotels near the Bund. The rooms are good - some of the...
