Decent five star hotel in Shanghai, with good location, fair amenities, however for a five star hotel, the language skills of he staff should be better. Unfortunately the pool was being renovated during my stay. Price is rather on the high side.
Stayed for couple of nights and this is one of the disappointing Shanghai hotel thus far.
Room wifi connectivity is bad.
For breakfast on-the-go, you will need to call 1 day in advance to arrange. (Strange for me as I stayed in other 4-5stars hotel...More
I paid my 1st visit to Shanghai on early May and Longemont was the hotel that I stay through the 5D4N Business incentive trip. The hotel itself in a Old Town area which hardly see any attractive shopping area around by walking distance. But beside...More

The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious
restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
