The rooms are great and the Location is really good, stayed here for the third time. But following is not okay. Breakfast was changed, no more life cooking at 6:30 and no more cheese. Half the front desk staff does not speak English. Ordered a taxi with a lot of lead time, no taxi when I had to go, did... More

Traveled as a party of 8, staff at check in were rude. I was allocated a smoking room although requesting non smoking on the booking. Other couples were upgraded even though they were not accor members so I had to ask. No restaurant to get your dining benefits. Breakfast poor and food was cold at 6 30 am. Room 1802... More

Accor should be embarrassed about this hotel. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. The staff are rude and unhelpful, the place is tired and not clean. Breakfast was poor quality and cold, which given we ate at 6.30 a.m. was a disgrace. The 2 restaurants for dinner are sublet so you can't use your dining discount card. WiFi... More

the hotel isnt bad; amenties aplenty nearby. BUT i'm terribly disappointed at how miserly this accor chain is - seriously, a 30ml body gel for 2 men to use is simply ridiculous. I had to call for housekeeping. Also i asked for extra bottles of water but they said they can't give me anything more than 2 more complimentary bottles... More

My booking was for 2 rooms and I have made the booking through Accor website under my own Le Club membership. After messing up my reservation giving me a smoking room when a NON-smoking was booked they quickly upgraded me to a king room. The room was enormous 2 rooms in fact plus a lovely clean bathroom One negative there the shower was over the bath.

This hotel has huge problems with its air conditioning, so 2 of the 3 nights we stayed the rooms were quite hot despite being on the coldest option. Even the passageways and Lobby were hot! On two incidences, the staff (who often do not speak English) were rude and abusive. Would not recommend it.

Very good sleep in this hotel !! It has a good standing and service, an interesting location and costs 3 times less than a 5 star hotel ! For business men, just looking for a good sleep, it's a choice i really recommand. Breakfast is not at top quality but you've got a wide selection of food.

Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighborhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
