I stayed for a week, completing my 21 days in country before I could get into Beijing. This was my second stay here, having had an excellent week long stay in February 2021. Annie, the front officer manager was incredibly thoughtful and helpful and made the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel with her personal touch. The front office staff of John, Derek & others took me for 3 separate nucleic acid tests at a hospital nearby and even arranged to collect the results thereafter as they figured out that with the language barrier, it would be too hard for me to navigate all this myself. Breakfast is good and wifi very reliable. The rooms are well maintained and look fresh. There is good easy access to public transport too.People who I have recommended it to also have had a great experience- I look forward to my next stay there!…
Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Shanghai, staffs were really kind and helpful specially Mr. Mark Wang who has gone above and beyond to make sure my stay was as smooth as possible. The other staffs were extremely friendly as well and were ever ready to answer my questions.
I stayed for a week 1-8 Feb, 2021, completing my 21 days before I could get into Beijing. The staff at the reception were very warm and helpful, upgraded my colleague and myself to a lovely suite and were ever ready to answer my questions. Annie, the manager was incredibly helpful too. Breakfast is good although the fresh juices kept running out! They booked a nucleic acid test for us at a hospital and were so kind to collect the result thereafter. Given the language barrier they ensured everything went well. It really made our stay so pleasant after 14 days in quarantine at a different hotel. Location wise-- easy access to public transport too. Thank you for taking such good care of us. I will definitely come back with my family!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. We stayed here an extra night after our tour ended. It is very contemporary in feeling. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast offerings were excellent! In the late afternoon you were given some substantial snacks with a drink order...
This hotel seems to generate polarized opinions, but I was happy with it overall. The best part about it is the location: within walking distance of the main train station, close to the metro, and one block away from the bus stop for the bus to Pudong Airport. Another positive was price, which was reasonable. The room was adequately large, and was quiet and very clean. It had a nice work desk area by the window, a chair with ottoman and side table, enough storage, and a large bathroom (with, however, only a shower, no tub). Breakfast was included with my rate, and was good, with the normal fruit, yogurt, cereal and milk, various danishes and breads, the normal Chinese breakfast items, as well as lots of coffee. I had no trouble finding people who spoke English adequately at the front desk or the concierge. Overall, I would stay here again, particularly if I wanted a place close to the railroad station.…
Stayed here overnight before heading out for the CNY festivities. Hotel is nicely located near one of Shanghai's main transport hubs. Given the current situation, the hotel was well prepared with proper protocols on handling issues relating to the virus like who to contact in case of fevers - I would say the hotel had good marks in this case especially given the international clientele. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good and cost-effective for the quality. Highly recommended especially for people transiting through Shanghai because of the service and proximity to the Shanghai Railway Station
We had stayed for 5 nights (29/12-3/01) there after 2 weeks trip from Japan that celebrate me and my friend's birthday. Hotel room is good but need some work to polish up. Check-in process was smooth and easy; but lack of friendly and greeting from the staffs even I mentioned my friend's birthday during our stay upon reservation. There was 2 incidents during our stay: 1. Slow service that we had to request 2 times for slipper after waiting for almost an hour for the first request. I would expect the service should be efficient and speedy. 2. We mentioned our bathroom light one side was off and none of the work done until our check-out date. Overall the stay would be fine if you didn't expect 5 star standard.
The room's are relatively spacious and well renovated. Location is pretty good, and I like the staff's services, courteous and service-oriented. This time, re-visiting Shanghai, and I am still satisfied with the hotel's services, and still able to make me go back again.
a broken cupboard interior light would not switch off and it was a drama to get it fixed; staff seemed to be very disinterested in the problems that this caused at 1am. breakfast included part-cooked Amerixan style pancakes all in all, much to be improved
Let's start with the only positive about this property which is the location, rest everything is bad and worst. We stayed in this property from 27th Dec till 30th Dec and overall experience is as below: 1. The rooms are very small and there is a distinct smell in the room when you first open it. 2. Despite being a global chain, the staff over here does not know even elementary english 3. The breakfast spread in the worst, it had absolutely nothing for vegetarians like us. 4. Despite being a Christmas and New Year there was absolutely not an iota of Christmas and New Year decorations in the hotel. 5. When we complained about very bad spread of breakfast, the front desk did not paid any heed except telling us that pls speak with resturant manager. Over all its a big no for any one traveling with family …
