I had an unforgettable birthday yesterday at The Ritz-Carlton, Pudong, Shanghai. On the day of my stay, I was notified that I was upgraded to the Bund View Suite, and I was very excited. But the surprise from the hotel is far more than that! Here I would like to thank a team from the Cuest Recognition Officer, member namely Michael, Jessee, Barry, Chelsea and Ashin. They did an fancy job, especially Jessee, Barry and Ashin, who stayed with me the day I checked in. Ashin is a very professional, attentive and enthusiastic staff. She took me for a room tour and introduced me to the facilities and locations of the hotel. With her help, I quickly learned about the facilities of the entire hotel. In addition, Jessee, Barry and Ashin meticulously prepared a birthday cake for me and sent me birthday wishes when I had dinner at the restaurant. But It's a pity thing that I was too excited and didn't take a photo with them. Furthermore, When I got back to my room after the meal, the turn-down service was ready for me. On the bedside was a birthday present prepared by their team for me, a Ritz-Carlton lion cub and a hand-painted birthday card. What a beautiful day! Moreover, The surprise continued, when I checked out today, Jessee and Barry, on behalf of the entire team, sent me a custom room card with my name and birthday date on it. It's unbelievable, something I've never experienced in other Ritz-Carlton branches. The entire team of Michael, Jessee, Barry, Chelsea and Ashin injected new vitality into the development of The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Pudong with their professional and enthusiastic service. At this point, I don't think they are hotel staff anymore, I think they are more like my friends! Thank them for a really wonderful birthday for me. All the love it! See u in the future!…
My family had a great time in the ritz Carlton in Pudong. The view was breathtaking and there were many things to keep us occupied like fitness, pool and spa. The food provided at the lounge looked simplistic, but is quite nutritious and very delicious. Not only that, the people there were amazing. They would do everything they can to ensure that our stay was an overall great vacation experience. Especially thanks to Sylvie, Cindy, Cynthia, Ethan, Lumen, Ivy, Lychee, Kiki and Kily in Club. And, Danhua in Spa.
My staycation at Ritz-Carlton Pudong is really a perfect one. Although I booked my stay via a travel agency, they offered me a room with a Peral Tower view, it's really marvellous. The service at the lounge is also brilliant and I enjoyed all of the meals. Much to my surprise, I was offered a special souvenir, a room card with my name carved on it. I have to mention that Annie, Cici, Cindy and Kily all left me very good impression for their professional and warm-hearted service.
I stayed at ritz for 3 weeks this time and the staff are very friendly and makes this a very comfortable stay. The floor cleaning team both miss zeng (day) and Vicky (night) took very good care of me and goes behind their normal duty to look after me. Would recommend ritz which never disappoints
From the moment I received my upgrade at check-in until the last goodbye from Monica, the hotel service was EXCEPTIONAL! Excellent hospitality is always found in the details. Although I didn't have 12 days of Christmas at the Ritz, I did have 12 memorable, magical moments that are worthy of a review. 1. The welcome basket was filled with several different types of fruit and 2 wonderful cookies at were refilled daily. 2. The notes from guest services and the housekeeping staff kept a smile on my face 3. SCENA had fresh ingredients that made their sauces and pastas taste delicious 4. SCENA had the cutest gingerbread houses 5. SCENA's AMAZING team noticed I loved the gingerbread houses and sent one to my room along with my room service meal 6. SCENA ( I could talk about this restaurant 10 more times but this will be my last point) has exceptional views of the pearl tower and river so ask for a window seat 7. The AMAZING restaurant staff (Daniel specifically) remembered my breakfast order and started preparing it when they noticed I had arrived for breakfast 8. The FABULOUS Staff at Jin Xuan created, prepared and signed a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner Menu that exceeded my pescatarian tastebuds and expectations. 9. The edible chocolate ornament sent to my room contained the best macaroons I've tasted in some time now 10. Now on to my favorite hotel places- the SPA- The spa treatments were exceptional and the view of the Shanghai tower makes this spa a MUST VISIT. Ask for Monica she was delightful and attentive to my requests. 11. The recommendations from the concierge were fabulous, per their recommendation, I went to the MAP for an opening exhibition and it was inspirational. 12. The newest member of the team and director of operations was a leading example of leadership, excellence and knowledge. He knew about the food, was kind to hotel guests and his team. The check-in process was very smooth. Great service from Candice and Evelyn. The breakfast is also good at Scena, delicate and tasty, especially the avocado juice. Feel very warm to back to Ritz Carlton Pudong. Thank you!!!
We like the Ritz as the service is consistent, super neat, and clean and the location is so convenient. Flair Bar is a must to visit, best view over Shanghai. However, the best spot in the hotel is Scena, Natalino’s hospitality is just amazing, he spoiled us and in the end he come over to take a photo moment with us. Time to back to Beijing see you soon.
We booked the hotel for one week for a family of 4, the checkin process was smooth and the staff was very considered! The concierge team ( specially Ms. Skylar) went beyond and above. They arranged for us and helped with the language with everything from booking tickets or taxis and even with the Apps! We enjoyed as well a dinner in the Scena restaurant with the Italian chef :) The bar in the 55. Level has an amazing view to the Bund and pearl tower. We didn’t book that Friday evening but the staff managed to get for us a seat :) On the first day , in the restaurant, I mentioned my ritual on the breakfast and the whole week I didn’t need to ask for it again , everything was ready on our table.. I highly recommend this place for a nice stay :)
I have been to many hotels around the world, but what I experienced this time at Ritz Carlton Pudong, Shanghai is a different and a new level of hospitality. What makes the biggest difference, is the attention and the attitude of staff, in particular the client service/concierge Team. They offer you assistance with everything: from Taxi booking to Museum tickets purchase ( with their own Apps) to helping with the admin stuff around health codes and quarantine regulations. A stellar service and exceptional performance, in particular from Ms. Skylar, who even accompanied us to the next telecom shop to buy a chinese SIM card. I have never seen before such level of help and assistance. Well done to the whole team, you are making a big difference and you are writing a new chapter for the hospitality business in Shanghai…
Fantastic 10-day stay mainly attributed to the excellent staff who were welcoming, proactive, responsive and helpful. Including providing great personalised notes complete with map and pictures of suggested places to visit in Shanghai. I could’ve not asked for more. Thank you Wenny, Skylar, Shawn and team! The hotel and room were also clean, spacious and very comfortable. Great location being within the IFC, next to office buildings, the shopping centre and with a Citysuper conveniently located downstairs. Look forward to staying again soon!
