Hotel's location is very convenient to visit Shanghai City Center and go to airport as it is near to the metro station. Reception staff was very helpful. The room that I was staying had two floors and bed is located in the upper floor. My bed was facing to the bathroom directly and due to sounds that coming from bathroom,...

Not far from exhibition (sniec) and metro station but kinda far from the city center, it took us about 30 mins by car to go there to do some sightseeing at evenings. Breakfast is good, some Chinese specialties, fresh fruits, some meat, cappuccino, etc, quite standard. Staff is attentive and spoke English most of the times (or they call someone...

I've loved my stay overall. The first nice perk you get is the fact that the hotel is literally standing on the Century Park metro station, so when you're coming from the airport, you just hop on metro and come out pretty much right in the lobby, without going into the street. Those who have been to Shanghai in winter...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying at Dorsett Shanghai and your feedback on taxi fare from hotel to Pudong Airport, taxi fare runs by the meter is very much depending on road traffic; there is a 50% surcharge add on the fare at late evening taxi ride (11:00pm-6:00am). We shall coach our staff to be specific when it comes to...

Staying in Century Park

Neighborhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
