Situated in the breathtaking World Financial Centre, it is one of the highest hotels in the world. We enjoyed a night time drink and snack in the Music Room. We were entertained with live music and it was most pleasant sitting back and and relaxing after an enjoyable day visiting the sights. The staff were pleasant and friendly and brought...

We have stayed there several times. The first two times were fairly good but this time we were given a room with smoke smell. After complaint we were switched to another room with less view. But that was ok because outside view was blocked by smogs anyway and it felt like in 1952 London. The 84th room was smaller than...

Very nice hotel all around. Good breakfast, good bar, English-speaking service is good. Views from near the top of the building are great. Rooms are nice but sort of overly technological, they missed no opportunity to do something fancy and complicated, one of those rooms where turning the lights on and off requires some puzzle-solving.

I stayed in the hotel once, and it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It is a very nice place, with a relaxed ambient, where you feel like you are flying through the sky when you look through a window. The rooms were quite big, with a really comfortable work area in them. The food was delicious,...

The Park Hyatt Shanghai was very nice and relaxing. After spending a day of travel, the rooms had a perfect zen quality to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the rainfall style shower. The fitness area is small however there were also weight machines and some free weights. If I ever return, I will pack a bathing suit to enjoy the pool....

This hotel was flawless in every way. It stands out even among Park Hyatt hotels around the world. The materials and attention to detail throughout the hotel are incredible. When you add the jetliner views of colorful buildings and neighboring mega-skyscrapers, there is no comparison. The concierge provided luxurious transportation and three exceptional dinner bookings. The bars and restaurants within...

Staycation for two nights to enjoy the swimming pool. Great rooms, okay service. Make sure you check the weather report before you book. As the hotel is so high up (F80 something) you might end up looking at a white wall of clouds that cost you 500$ a night. Awesome pool and not too crowded. Will stay there again (on...

This hotel have an amazing pool. The room has maganificant view (see pic). Truly a must have experience in Shanghai. It is like an escape of crowds in the city. The downside of this hotel is their stupid room level. The lobby is at 87 floor but most room are below. As a result even you need go to other...

The best city hotel in the world. Rooms, decor, service and attention to detail is what sets this hotel above all else (in height and stature). Although the location in Pudong isn't always convenient for me, it still worth it to stay here. I once stayed at the Peninsula Shanghai (to be close to my meetings) and the service there...

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighborhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
