Well located hotel with clean, modern rooms and friendly staff (Kevin) that let me check in early. Fair-priced for Shanghai with a "central" location. Uncomplicated choice when on business. The boutique size makes it swift to conduct check-in / out and in general sets a...More

It's an art deco hotel with a great location, which is easy to go to anywhere in Puxi area.
The room is of sense of design. I like the sofa, bench, dresser and jewelry box. However it's a bit to narrow and small. And the...More
Jinjiang MetroPolo Hotel Classiq Shanghai Jing An Temple is a beautiful art deco hotel, right in the heart of Shanghai. Nice breakfast, good service, and a convenient location just near Nanjing Road. I will go back there.
This is a nice hotel to stay in. It's modern decor and helpful staff make it a pleasure. Well equipped gym... Tea in the afternoon... and spacious rooms make it a treat. It is between Jing'an and the Former French Concession.

The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious
restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.

There are rooms in the newer building attached to the art deco historic building that do not have windows in the bedroom only in the bathroom. This makes for a very quiet nights sleep in fact so I see as an advantage. For a small price extra you can chose a balcony room (18 of these) or a two room suite (20 of these). They all come with the FREE Evening Social 4pm-6pm every day you will enjoy in the pond side lobby bar area. No need to stay in your room at all.

Sorry! I thought it is another hotel. This one is the Jing'an Hotel. From Jing'an Hotel you can take bus No.113 to get directly to the Shanghai Railway Station. It will take you about 40 minutes. By car it will be 20 minutes. The nearest subway station is Jiangsu Road Station of Line No.11, you can walk there and take Line 11 to the station of Caoyang Rd, and then transfer Line No.4 to the Shanghai Railway Station, it will take you also about 40 minutes.
