We really enjoyed our 4 nights on Viwa. The highlights for us included the front porch of our bure and the beautiful beach. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved that you have an assigned beach chairs and umbrella and felt far away from everything and everyone.

Bula Captain Thank you for your review and king words. The moments on the front porch of each bure is magical, opening up onto the white sandy beach and crystal clear pristine waters. Relaxing, laying back and watching the days go by. Snorkeling off the beach is a must, viewing the giant clam farm or swim with the turtles feeding on the ocean floor. Private snorkeling are arranged daily to different sights and one of the highlights is viewing the sting rays or with a bit of luck on the day, perhaps a school of eagle rays. Our menu changes daily, with our chefs working around perishables harvested from our organic farm daily. Thank you for your comments with dinner. The speed boat transfer with the pick up from Waya Island takes 50 minutes. Viwa Island is remotely located being the last island located west of the Fijian Islands. The bathroom are semi enclosed opening out into a garden area. We are sourcing, looking at avenues on bugs proofing with fine netting keeping the insects at bay. Thank you for visiting us and sharing your review with us. Management and Staff enjoyed the company of your stay and look forward with renewal of our friendship. Vinaka Vakalevu Patrick W

Bula & Greetings Thank you for taking the time reviewing your stay at the Resort. Management and Staff enjoyed the company of your stay and thank you visiting us on our secluded, remote unique destination, serviced with "Friendly Fijian Hospitality". The bures and main facilities opens out to the ocean waterfront, white sandy beach, pristine clear waters and the sound of the waves lapping. Hot water is solar powered and has a booster provision for rainy days. Weather permitting, the Solar Farm produces most of our energy consumed, boosted by diesel powered generators. The bathrooms are semi outdoors, opening up into an indoor garden with tropical plants. Being on a remote island and at sea level, our Wifi services is limited to the main complex areas only. We are currently negotiating with providers on upgrading on to a 18 metre mast, that will provide faster and consistent WiFi services. Daily activities are programmed, either cultural, land or water and the unique opportunity visiting the "local community", opening up their homes and sharing their daily activities with visitors. Snorkeling off the beach, visit the giant clam farm, swimming with the turtles or visit other sites on a private snorkeling location, viewing colorful marine resources. Our food menu are changed daily, South Pacific Cuisine, complimented by our Organic Farm produces of perishables. Thank you again for your review and hope you can revisit someday renewing our friendship Vinaka Vakalevu Patrick W

Bula & Greetings Thank you for your review, kind words and visit, sharing your holiday with us. Arriving for three nights, but staying seven nights. We do have an amazing paradise, the staff and the Local community complimenting the experience of our destination. We also have our own solar, organic farm and a programme with coral planting on neighbouring inner reef areas. Sea grapes (Nama) are harvest, adding to the herbs contributing from our organic farming. Thank you again for your kind words and management and Staff enjoyed the company of your stay and look forward to revisit, renewing our friendship Vinaka Vakalevu Patrick W

If your idea of a vacation is to get away from it all (no internet, no phone... just be one with nature), Viwa Island Resort is the place to be. I spent 10 glorious days on this western-most part of Fiji. From the moment you set foot on this private island, you are treated like

Bula Ruth Thank you for your comprehensive review and it was a pleasure having you on the resort. We are secluded, remote, away from it all, on our own pristine tropical island, white sandy beach and crystal clear waters enrich with marine resources. The Seaplane transfer is a beautiful scenic ride of the islands. Boating transfer, Yasawa Flyer departing Port Denarau at 0845 hours. Our Vessel picks up at Waya Island, Octopus, 1045 hours for a 40 minutes transfer to Viwa Island. The bathrooms are semi outdoor with the garden opening up to the sky. A fine netting will be an answer keeping our tropical friendly birds at bay. Phones will be an addition in rooms for the convenience with guest services. I am sorry the housekeeping and food & beverage services had been inconsistent and your comments have been noted for improvements. Understand our wine selection are limited as plans are in place to diversity with the growth and traffic to the resort. The infinity swimming pool is being schedule for resurfacing and the only reason the hibiscus hedge being in place, is to act as a wind breaker from the South-East Trade winds over the winter months. There is plenty to do on offer, cultural, adventure, aquatic or just sit back and relax. The girls at the Spa are currently being trained, introducing “Health & Wellness” treatments with a new selection of oils to work with. Vinaka Vakalevu Ruth for visiting us at the resort and again for taking the time posting your review. Your comments are noted as “constructive”, management and staff enjoyed the company of your stay and value your comments, working towards fine tuning, excellence, achieving the highest guest satisfaction levels. Take Care and Best Wishes Patrick W
