Our team ordered a prawn linguine, baked eggplant and a chicken schnitzel. While the setting overlooking the water was very pleasant, the meals were rather bland. The fruit juice was also good. The linguine had 5 prawns and had no colour in the meal. Some greens would have been a great addition.
We have just returned from a lovely 10 days at The Pearl Resort. The staff were wonderful - so welcoming and always looking for little extra things they could do for us. They even sang a beautiful Fijian farewell song for us the day we left. Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely view over the marina. While some of their restaurants are currently closed for renovations, the food was good at The Riviera bistro overlooking the marina.So vinaka (thank you) to The Pearl Resort and all its lovely staff for a relaxing stay.
The rooms are newly refurbished and very nice. View from the ocean rooms is great. The service overall is quite slow though, they don't give drinking water in the rooms, and they only clean the rooms every other day. AC works well, but they only put a sheet on the bed, not a nice duvet. Overall, for the price, it could be a lot better.
One of the worst service and room condition I had seen. CFC is failed here. Got the room late past 5pm (we are okay). Rooms has insects, and cockroaches. When we told Front office, no action or care. “Umm ok” . Breakfast does not even have omelette plus very poor food quality.
Beware. Despite a pandemic friendly booking policy that allows cancellation, the hotel does not respond to cancellation requests. I have sent multiple emails without any acknowledgement. I called through twice to be reassured of my request. Both channels are bogus as no actions have been taken. I have since lodged a dispute with my credit card to block this merchant.
I had the Ocean view, the best view. I loved sitting at the balcony during morning hours enjoying the scenery (Ocean and the garden area) . The games and also made friends. I would definitely love to comeback for a longer time
First off I would like to personally thank Natalie Marletta and her team for one of the most magnificent trips in our lifetime!!! My husband and I went out to Fiji for Christmas and New Years Eve / Day! We had so much fun as we always do visiting Fiji and our friends at The Pearl Resort! Please make sure to stay at this hotel when you or your family are on vacation! I have also stayed here for business as well, this hotel / resort has everything you will need or ever desire for your pleasures. If you are a film crew I highly recommend you and your entire crew staying here. There are plenty of rooms and this location is completely modern. I have stayed here for two months at a time for business and didn’t want to leave. This was our third time staying at the resort and this will be the only place we will stay at in the future! Myself, my partner and 11 year old are at the end of a wonderful 8 days at the Pearl. The staff are lovely, friendly and have made us feel very welcome. There are a lot of free activities organised by the resort - fire walking, coconut display, crab races, kayaking - a daily program is at reception. We also booked some trips via the resort including snorkeling, a river cruise and a jet ski safari around Beqa Island that was amazing. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Currently enjoying a strawberry daiquiri from the poolside bar. We have had a great stay and will visit again. Convenience: grocery store across the road. Beautiful location. Tip: if arriving late from overseas, pick up some bottled water at duty free. 3 hours from Nadi airport
I visited Fiji islands a few years back and have the privilege of living in Pac Harbour. The stuff by the pearl resort were always accommodating, kind and friendly. The food and drinks were great. I didn’t even want it to end. I made a few friends and it will forever be on my list of the best places I have ever been to.
I came in as a member of a regional organisation and was treated differently. Housekeeping after 2 day - we were not informed when we checked in and had to run to reception numerous times for change in linen. Terrible food given to us - Reheated food, curdled fresh cream, Facility not good - filthy rugs in walkway, mattresses feel like they need to be changed. Can feel springs Lack of knowledge on national policy changes - staff don't know that disabled persons are exempted from mask wearing. Rude F&B staff, bird dropping on tables in eatery, afternoon tea served LATE. We pay full price for the MICE service and the staff expect us to pay up in full and then they treat us differently. Please upskill or upgrade your MICE aspect of operations.
